Great 2nd half performance but we really should have posted more points with the possession and field position we had in the first half. I know we had our first choice 1, 6 and 9 out but our attack just isn't sticking atm. Sarg is a good FB option until ST comes back, it wasn't a perfect display but he hasn't played in that position for nearly 2 years so I'd expect him to get his timing and passing ironed out with a few games.
The one thing that annoys me slightly, and has done for a couple of years now, is our pre match warm up. It looks like a load of under 14s messing about. We've got players stood 10 yards away kicking to each other or running and handing off the post pads! They used to split in to 2 sides of the field and just run attacking drills over-and-over. I'm wondering if this is why the timing is looking so sloppy, and more effort needs to go into practising attacking plays?
