| Quote ="Singing Warrior":3pfxp9l3I have been digging further into this matter and next Thursday will be the 6th occasion that a team has been asked to play on Thursday after having played on the previous Sunday. As well as Wigan, other teams drawing the short straw have been Wakefield, Widnes and Castleford twice. Only Castleford have won when at this disadvantage and that was when they faced London. If it is obvious that a team is disadvantaged when faced with such a short turn round then it is equally obvious that their opponents have been given an advantage. One team has enjoyed that benefit on two occasions. Would you be surprised to find out that the lucky team is LEEDS.'"
It was a dire game! We won't be a threat tomorrow, so no need to worry about short turn around.

Yes I had noticed that fixture at the start of the season but as there was no disadvantage to either team I discounted it. It is not the fixture against your team that is after a short turnround. That comes on Thursday next when we play Salford.

| Quote ="Father Ted"Shaun Wane's squad selection for the Bradford match will be interesting as we then play Salford after only a four day turnaround. We know what happened when we went to Wakey after just a four day break.
Today SW has said Blake Green and Iain Thornley are a couple of weeks away. In a couple of weeks we don't have a game due to the C Cup semis. Maybe he's looking to bring them back early for the Salford game?
When SKY changed the game it did worry me that a game which we would expect to win became a game that will be a struggle. SKY knew this when they moved the game from a Friday to Thursday giving Salford 6 days and us four.
Was this trying to make an uncompetitive game competitive for TV purposes? If so then they are taking the game in areas they should not be dealing with. If they are trying to manipulate the League table by pulling stunts like this then they need telling and very firmly. Where does player welfare come in all this? Obviously nowhere!
I hope we win them both and well but we all need to get down to the DW for the Salford game to give our support to the lads who will need it.'"
After your pathetic post above and performance at Bradford I take it you mean Wigan
See pathetic is easy.

So you're including Friday (ie the game day) great logic.

That's including the match day, in that case Leeds had 8 days then.

| Wigan are facing a four day turnaround.
As has been mentioned a pattern has emerged whereby those teams on a four day turnaround do not win, Cas when facing London apart.
This is Wigan's first time in the straight SL League fixtures. The Wakey game which was a four day gap was a re-arranged fixture due to the WCC match. Both Wigan and Widnes lost after their four day gap.
The idea that SKY do not know this by now is naive and laughable.
Also what bothers me greatly is player welfare. Players going into a game hardly recovered against an opposition that is both recovered and prepared.

Of course I have you numpty. If you didn't count the game day Wigan's match against Salford would be a three day turn round.
