The first try, Stacul didn't interfere with play at all. Not even a little bit. The 2nd try was not a forward pass. And you could hear Ganson say 'I would've disallowed it for double movement anyway' which is a complete joke.
You would have won anyway, they were knackered. Ref ruined the game early on though.

It made no difference if he intefered the rule states you can not be inside 10 meters if you are coming from a technically an offside position. Correct decision.

That YET is a big word. It could be in the back of your players minds and work against them. While we could think we have beat them once and can do it again. You will have to play better next week than you have played in your last few games. Today you didn't play as well as the scoreline suggests, saints on the other hand are getting better every game. One thing I do know it will be a better game than Leeds and Wire as it is a derby game as well.

If I'm honest, I haven't looked up the wording of it. Doesn't make sense though... Wouldn't that be inconsistent of the other offside rules? As if you are offside at the play the ball, it doesn't matter unless you attempt a tackle and if you're offside at a kick and your team regains it, it doesn't matter unless you collect the ball. Just doesn't weigh up IMO, although I'm not saying you're wrong, knowing how this game is run, it probably does say that.
And Dureau (I think it was him that passed) turned his body and the ball went backwards out of his hands, not forward, although at least that one could be open to interpretation. To chalk them both off though, just killed off any hope Catalan had.

You've had to fight tooth and nail just to make 1 in the 7 last years. Well whoopdy f*cking doo. You were not excellent by any stretch of the imagination tonight. The game as a whole lacked any real playoff intensity. Catalans were cumbersome and generally knackered. A fresher better team would have been 2 scores up on wigan in that opening 20. Just 5 mins into the second half nearly half of catalans team couldn't be bothered to get back onside until about the 4th play.

Does that not ring alarm bells about the determination and intensity of the team you were playing?

If you want to stay in this mystical fairytale world of sugar and lollipops where wigan were great tonight and look set to put saints to the sword next week then by all means, but don't indulge the rest of the rugby league world in this fantasy.
