Whilst I'd love that to be true they managed to lift the CC 2 years in a row and not self destruct in those finals. Nor have they self destructed when we've played them in the recent past, being one of only a few teams to really put it to us. And when you think about it we have a pretty bad habit of taking our foot off the gas when it counts, just like we did yesterday. Having said all that, COME ON HULL!

No we will not be..We have a coach who is fighting for his job and has a lot to prove to our new owner and the faithful, it is our last home game of the regular season and we will all be there to hopefully spoil Wires party!!

Wire have never been a team we fear ,even now as good a team as they are ,i feel the fc will win by 12 ,where hitting some real form and wire have not got a great record at the kc should be a great game but one we are more than capable of winning ,get the BEERS on ice

Believe me Hull will be trying to win this one and there's no question of resting anyone.

Rovers will beat Cas so we need to beat Wire (or draw) or Rovers will finish above us.



I expect us to fall gallantly short (as usual) but we will give them a game.

Not a cat in hells chance Hull will beat Wire in this one. They're far too good to throw this position away now. They actually played below their best yesterday and have another level or 2 in them IMO.

2nd will do us just fine anyway. We can rest guys on Friday, we don't have the distraction of the club call (well I don't think we will) and yesterday will be a kick up the backside at a very handy time for us.

Yesterday could have been the best thing to happen to us all year.

Yeah pretty similar to last seasons defeat in the playoffs against Leeds in that sense.

Only because they didn't need to play their best. Our respect for the ball was shocking yesterday. I can't remember the last time we dropped the ball so much and made so many other silly mistakes. Having said that...

To be honest, i really dont care about the Hull FC v Dire result.
No interest whatsoever in how things turn out over there.
I support WIGAN RLFC......And i'm only interested in what WE do.
Warrington are a very, very good side this year. And if they finish top ? Good luck to 'em. They will have deserved it, despite the comments of some of their rather less than engaging 'fans'.
But its the playoffs that ultimately count for everything. And just like the CC, we might have to do it the hard way again.
I honestly believe that come the main event, Leeds will be the main threat to our crown.
Whoever gets past them, will be SL Champs. Simple as.
