Shaun Edwards got the same type of flak in the letters pages of the RL press. Had this forum been around when he was in his prime for Wigan the same sorts of posts would have been made about him.

It's been a while since we have had a player who provokes opposition fans so much so Sam is clearly doing everything right at the moment including scoring tries when knocked out!

he may of been knocked out and ruled out the rest of the game! but he will certainly feel good about himself that he scored a try whilst unconcios! as if he needed his head to inflate anymore! fair play to him though! tried his best to come back on!

He may be an unpleasant niggly little ....... But he is OUR unpleasant niggly little .... gawd bless him. Many top sportsmen are confident/arrogant when playing and Sam is. I don't know the guy off the pitch, and how he is there is his business... I just like to watch him on the park. Enjoy it while he is here folks, the career of a rugby player is short.

Yes but most of them were supporting trys. Sam tends to score them on his own.

His try was a brilliant piece of skill aswel to step back inside of 2 players and then score when knocked out.

Awesome talent. Got a bit of niggle about him which I like. I bet he's a massive wimp though.
