Similar to the Leigh game too many errors, only difference was the class of the opposition this time and we lost, although they did indicate you're fitness levels seemed better which surprised me as last season our squad was arguably the fittest.

WOW, we must have been listening to different games, if so.

They said Wigan were better prepared or looked " a month ahead of warrington" in training.

They also stressed the point as Yed mentions that Wire threw away a lot of chances while Wigan didn't. Sounds clinical to me.

Your defence was very very good. We bombed about 4 or 5 try scoring opportunities but you were pretty clinical in attack and punished our mistakes. A good hit out for both teams to go into the seaon with. I thought Lima was ok but didn't really break the line. He'll probably be better when the grounds firm up.

good game, thought it started with a good level of intensity which tailed off a bit in the second half. Defence looked fantastic and Lima is an absolute BEAST. I thought all the players looked really lean, especially Joel, his body shape has really changed.

Does that not worry you?

Very pleasing result for us that. Our defence sounded awesome and from the sounds of it we were clinical in attack too! Honestly thought with the side we put out that Wire might have had a good crack at beating us today, bit surprised they didn't in all honesty.

Madge maintains his 100% record at the HJ stadium and we've beaten a team who must surely be one of our closest rivals for the title all without Fielden, Hansen, Finch, Glesson and the Man of Steel himself!

#For me we looked stronger all over . The ref didnt help the cause with the amount of penalties he blew. IMO we had another gear to go to if we needed it.

warrington to me didnt look fit enough and certain players look to be carrying abit too much weight!

Come off it, there must have been only about 10 penalties for each team during that game. For a friendly, that's pretty good, especially considering Ganson blew for 34 penalties the other night.

Well if your a very fat warrington side with only 10 days till kick off...i would be very very very worried.

thats still 20 penalties and i think you will find there were more penalties awarded to warington. The penalties had no real bearing on the game. We were better end of.

Wigan were the better team tonight by some distance.
Wire scored on half time and they didn't kick off following the conversion. Their last two tries were in the final five minutes of the game.
The team talk this week will be about playing 40 each half and not 35!
Wigan were the better team for 35 of the 40 each half.
