I've read none of this thread but the big talk from the Rhino's fans after the 1 point win at Wigan struck me as setting themselves up for a fall. Surprised they did it tbh but I suppose 3 years wins breeds arrogance. They made foools of themselves. Come on Wigan, lets keep the standards up and murder Saints.

What's surprised me this week is how many Leeds fans have used the "we've won it lots of times in the past" argument ... as if that actually has any relevance.

When our last golden age ended, we used to use this "we've won everything more times than you" argument, and we got roundly (and rightly) slagged off for it. The past counts for nothing at all. You can be proud of it - and we had far more to be proud of than Leeds ever have - but it isn't going to win you matches in the here and now.

I'd have thought Leeds fans would have realised that. But even the smartar2e ones who we've had on there this week (and who are now mysteriously absent) - the ones who used lots of long words and laughing face emoticons to make them seem cleverer than they were - made exactly the same error. "You pies are looking down the barrel of 4 Grand Final wins, etc" As if that was ever likely to intimidate us - Wigan! - who've won so much more.

At first I thought they were kidding, but now I'm pretty sure they weren't. They genuinely thought the mere fact they were Leeds was going to initmidate us. Well ... no.

Lets just wait until next week shall we.
