For those that haven't read it, it is a letter from the warrington chief executive saying how much a great stadium the HJ is and how much the community should be proud of it on its 7th anniversary... Maybe he should have sent the letter to the Warrington Guardian instead, could you imagine Mick Hogan doing the same@ Wigan.. I think not.. they want to mix it with the big boys, but at the end of the day they are a small time club.

I can happily mix with saints fans. And to be fair they have been the dominant team in SL for many years and there or thereabouts when the trophies are given out. Wigan fans seem to still have the sheer arrogance from their period of dominance from 88 to 95,even though in effect that dominance ended 15 years ago. It's been a long time between trophy laden drinks for the wiganers but when reminded of this the immediatly start going on about the edwards/hanley/gregory era when they won almost everything. If you have to keep dragging up success from 15 years ago in 2010 it's looking a bit grim for you in my opinion!

Bit to be honest, considering the money they've spent on it. Doesn't stand out from the crowd at all.

You need to stop living in the past Steve. You have been dominant yes, but that's all history. Wire are not a small club the same as Wigan are not.

Erm, you're including Widnes but forgetting one that is less than 10 miles to possibly three of those (prepared to proved wrong though)

To be totally honest I'm quite happy to have gone through the last 10 years we've just had than the last 10 years Warrington have had, and I include battling relegation. I mean ok you won the cup last year but you also consistently failed to make the play offs.

I may be wrong but I think you have won 2 major trophies since 95. The grand final in 1998,beating leeds 10-4,and the cup in 2002 beating saints 22-8. No one mentions these in open discussion between fans though. I have had many conversations with wigan fans which always inevitably turn to "what about when we went to wembley 8 years running and won 7 championships?" As I say 15 years ago. Time you lot let it drop I think!

And there we go, a prime example of why Warrington fans will never be liked, or respected, by any other fans. You can have a conversation about a game with any other fan, try having a conversation with a Warrington fan, you'll be lucky to get dribbled on.
