| Whatever happenned to the notion that we would have a better start to this season because we would be playing home and away every week rather than the fixtures being loaded against us at the beginnning of previous years.
Gawd only help us when we have not got the luxury of 6 out of 9 matches at home in the run in.

I fear a bit of thrutching going on at the jjb we have nothing to lose on friday no doubt we are expected to lose by all the pundits but as for your comment about ratchford for me he is a better all round player than richie myler kicking game a lot better than richies and as for your earlier post cashmere is our best player well for me he is not in the top half dozen players for us
see you thrutchers on friday

| the team that played on friday...
1 John wilshere Age:30
2 Mark Henry Age:28
3 Willie Talau Age:33
4 Jordan Turner Age:20
5 Darrel Goulding Age: 21
6 Stefan Ratchford Age: 20
7 Richard Myler Age: 19
8 Rob Parker Age:27
9 Malcolm Alker Age :31
10 Ray Cashmere Age: 29
11 Luke Adamson Age:21
12 Ian Sibbit Age: 29
13 Luke Swain Age: 27
14 Robbie Paul Age:33
15 Phil Leuluai Age:32
16 Lee Jewitt Age:21
17 Stuart Littler Age:30
Players over 30 - 4
Players 25-30 - 6
Players Under 22 - 6
cant really say that most of our players are over the hill... paul, talau, alker and lealuai are all still valuable members of our squad and still offer a threat to any side, alker moreso in defence than attack, Paul can still break the line and create trys although he is no spring chicken
all of the players that are under 22 have the potential to do very well at this level, some possibly will play for england
Myler deserves all his plaudits, ratchford is clever with a superb kicking game adamson as you can see by his stats if you look for them is a grafter in both defence and attack and started one great move last night and finished another.
If you do win on friday night it will be thouroughly deserved as salford are not going to be a walkover like some naive people on here seem to think so!
May the best team come out on top, hopefully from my point of view it will be salford, we need to write some wrongs from the last semi final we played in

That retirement home you go on about still managed to give you the biggest kick up the backside you've ever had causing your beloved superstars to lose their spirtual home at central park

Goulding has been very good for us since he came and will be a big loss next week. He has steadied our defence on the right (which was our biggest weakness) and we have barely conceded a try down that side since he came. He has also been good in attack and scored a few tries. It looks like we will have to play Littler again who will be a big weakness as he is awful

| Im not saying you can't beat us, I'm saying you shouldn't.
Its not arrogance, its confidence and the players should have the same mentality.
If you beat us at the weekend then congratulations, I hope the best team wins. Just as long as its wigan.
Anyway, there is only one player in Salford team I would have in our side and that is Myler and hopefully he will see the light and sign or us.
Good luck anyway!

| To think Friday's game will be a walkover for us would be stupid really.
Salford are playing well and will defintely be up for it on Friday so we have to match their enthusiasm and do the basics well otherwise I can see them beating us

| Perhaps losing our last two matches is the ideal preparation for this one. Most normal teams would go into a game like this full of confidence if they were on a winning run. But Wigan would arrive cocky, over-confident and basically doomed. Now perhaps, they'll be in a more sobre frame of mind.
But when you think about it, only Wigan could have contrived a situation where a relatively straightforward, dare I say it - even easy - home draw in the cup, could suddenly have assumed the dimensions of season maker-or-breaker.
