The decision completly altered the game.

If its not given, its 12-0, a total different game and we don't resort to playing touch and pass football.

We made a massive error in defence for their 3rd try, Carmont yet again with a pathetic 1 on 1 miss.

Silverwood needs to be pulled from SL for the rest of the year for that decision.

Yes, we dropped alot of ball, but we did so trying to get back into a game we were totally dominating.

The ref was however shocking for both teams, total awful throughout and the most bizzare set of decision making Ive ever seen.

And If Dobson is awarded his try after 2 mins which has been posted on here SHOULD have happend you would have been 0-6 down.

Yeah, but that try is up for debate and can be debated. What cant be debated is the hooter had gone and the half was over when your "try" was given.

Ref was disgusting my mum is a warrington fan and she was there tonight with me and she said the ref was all over hull kr. Shambles !!!

From what I saw of the replays at half time, it wasnt conclusive.

Game of two halfs, can't blame it on the hooter try!!

First Half - Our defence was amazing, and we forced the knock on's in the Hull side, due to our defence being so good the Hull team lost their game head...

Second half - Hull's defence was far better and they started to get in our faces like we did to them in the first half. I'd love to see the completed sets % for the wigan side in the 2nd half, be lucky if we hit 40% and that's what loss us the game, not the hooter try!!

Great game, two great teams playing great rugby, and a good following from the Hull guys on a friday night!!

It was excessive but due to the amount of scrums the daft "let's form it quick to stop the clock" was well enforced throughout the second half which played a big part in that i suppose.

Anyway I still think........

Silverwood was shocking all round, for both sides, and as much as I'm glad he fooked up for Dobsons try by allowing us to play the ball, it was a very poor decision.

Then again, if your lot didn't bang that drum so loud, he might have heard it.

There were no objections from the HKR players.

Silverwood was about as good as Bin Laden's stag party.

I hate complaining about refs - I generally think they do their best for right or wrong, but he gave us bugger all tonight. We got two 50-50s I can recall and his constant blowing up at every scrum was ridiculous.

Three things cost us the game - the shambolic try after the hooter, Smith going off on some mad run (I understand what he was trying to do, but the KR defence was up too quickly all night) and kicking into a charge-down, and the superb KR defence that was on us faster than a scouser on a dropped quid.

That said, we played well. Our forwards ran hard and hit very hard - some of those tackles made the East Stand shudder, I've not seen some many hits like that for years - and you've got to expect some mistakes in pouring rain. For me, our passing from the PTB was too slow and we couldn't cope with KR running up fast in defence.

Im sorry to moan about the ref and im not one for doing it but do you not think perhaps they were 'up so quick' as they were constantly offside. Some of the offsides were ridiculous tonight....saw some hull players at times up to 5 yards infront of the ref and he didnt blow up?!!?

You have to question a game like tonight.....yes we werent at our best...but IMO we were the better team over the 80 dominated yardage and the collision, yet came away with nothing?! Why? ridiculous penalties from the ref given to them and them lying offside all game IMO. For me youve also got to question 'did hullkr pos going top influence the ref and the game?' wouldnt accuse anything without knowing the facts but I wouldnt have put it past the rfl to tell silverwood to come out playing for hull as if they go top it would show how 'open and great our super dooper league is'

I think you're denying KR a lot of credit there. No, they weren't offside all night - from my seat in the East Stand I watched their line of defence and yes there were a few could have been given, but for the most they were hot out of the blocks and closing us down fast - which is mainly why we couldn't get into our stride in attack. Brilliant tactics at any time, but especially in the conditions.

I fully agree with the rest - except for one period in the first half, we had the most of territory, possession and physical dominance, and there was a spell in that first half we were battering them all over the park. In which case we should have come out with the win.

Oh, and the ref's blatant rubbishness didn't help.

the hooter is just both teams time keepers timing to tell the fans the ref has his own watch and his time is what count i no this from sitting with 2 time keepers once but silverwood was poor at times but the weather was awful for rugby and the teams did well to make a very very good game of it well done wigan no trouble aswel until a little chav thru a stone at our coach on the way out of wigan but overall a very good night thank you
