I worry more about the 'blind' supporters who refuse to criticise and turn up irrespective of what utter tosh is put in front of them. It was these 'loyal' supporters who saw and were party to the club being relegated to Division 2. |

you can be a fan and not go to every game due to personal circumstances.
money, kids other activities, other leisure pursuits.
rugby league is not the be all and end all, and anyone who slags off fans for not attending every game whilst they themselves never miss a game have either too much money and time on their hands, or they dont have a full and varied life.........ie......they need to get a life and join the real world.
for what its worth i am a liverpool fan, and ive not been to anfiend for years for financial reasons, and im a pittsburg steelers fan and NEVER been to pittsburg...........but i wore my pittsburg shirt with pride on sunday in protest of us not having a shirt and there was no way i was wearing last years with JJB on it.'"

Alas it is true. The 'best' supporters said nothing/did nothing because one must blindy trust and show reverence to those in positions of authority. Hence, they never uttered a word or challenged anything sid by the then directos and we slid quietly into Division 2.

| Aah, a bit of perspective. Fully agree with JTB, there is no such thing as a 'true' fan. A fan's a fan; if you've got the money, time and inclination to dedicate your life to it, then that's great. Equally, if you've not, then that is great too. The OP made his mind up not to go tomorrow and that's fair enough. It's a leisure activity, after all. As I posted elsewhere:

The team are simply only apart of Wigan Rugby League.
We're an establishment that consists of coaches, players, supporters, staff, business requirements etc.
If all our supporters didn't attend games because they 'didn't like watching crap Rugby' then there would be no Wigan Rugby League, would there?
In my opinion we're all in it together. |

It's not as simple as 'just one game' though is it? We've had a few years of Wigan playing less rugby than any other team in the league. If there is another team who play less attractive rugby than Wigan, name them.
