Massive hype quickly followed up by a crushing let-down has happened all too often with Wigan rugby as of late. I'm getting used to not letting it ruin the week.

If I were you I'd be less concerned in drawing comfort from the occasional victory you've managed to secure against our bunch of crapsters, and more concerned in avoiding a mega-humiliation at the hands of Manly. They're still hurting from when we turned them over in what was basically the last real WCC played on these shores, and are more than likely to take it out on you lot. So you'll need to improve 100% on last Friday's performance, and your top men will need to improve 200% on their role in the World Cup debacle.

Nope. Things I currently have to worry about:

1. Whether my family in Australia are ok
2. Whether I will still have a job next month
3. Anything associated with my wedding
4. Paying my mortgage

I watch Wigan matches as a bit of light relief from the rest of the week, the last thing I need is to start getting myself worked up about that as well.

Same feelings here, and more so when playing on a Sunday, was in a funny mood all day yesterday. Hate it !

You mustnt have watched them all then, everyone who has watched lost from the start is addicted like me, then you get the thickos who watch one a series and say they dont get it, you have to have a good memory and to have watched every episode to really appreciate how good it is.

Back to the topic...it hasn't really depressed me too much, I just got quite drunk after the game and it's wiped my memory. A tactic I hope I don't have to use too often this season...

i was, untill this morning over breakfast, my house mate told me our other house mate won't be here for a little bit as his brother has suddenly died.
