What a massive game this is for both clubs, both have been massive underachievers, in Wigan's case in recent years, and in Wire's case since the formation of the Northern Union....



Lockers will be a serious loss if he is injured. He's been superb this season, easily the best LF in the comp. McIlorum too will be a big loss as of course will Hock.

Even more important though will be which Wigan team turns up; we are such a Jekyll and Hyde team this year. We are totally inconsistent, a bit Wire-esque almost...



It looks like a great semi-final in prospect. The fact that Wire's fans are overconfident is good news. Let's hope that complacency creeps into the Wire team too.

Injuries are part and parcel of the game and lets face it, theres still a few weeks away yet until the semi and owt can happen yet. As much as I want my team to beat yours in the semi, I for one will not mention your injuries as unlike some of my other "colleagues" it is very unsportmanlike to dwell on other teams injuries.

Cant wait for the day, may the best team win and then go on & win the cup!

I agree with this our fans would be just the same if we had won 8 of the last ten and they had a few big injuries.

It may work in our favour if some of their players start thinking the same way. Look what Catalan did to us two years ago when we were all planning for the final after we had beaten them 30-0 a few weeks before the semi.

I'm sure they're be going all out to be fit for the game but if not to say the game is a foregone conclusion is stupidity at its highest.

We have more than enough to beat Wire if we play to our potential.

And if Wire play to there potential they have more than enough to hammer Wigan

Wire are playing quite ordinary and winning at the moment a good sign for us.
You have some of your more influential players out BUT Wigan have proven many times that they are a BIG game team and have turned a corner of late.
The Hock incident has galvanised Wigan and TBH was been impressed with the way you came out after the first 10 minutes at KR and destroyed the Quins.

\\\i still think the Semi may be the best game of the season. The reason RL teams have 'squads' is because of injuries, so its no excuse. would prefer everyone fully fit but that is almost impossible.

Alot could happen in 4 weeks, Wigan could be favourites going into this game.

Well seeing as 10 days ago all those players were fit and playing i think wire should wait until the days before the semi final game before selecting their team, a lots can happen injury wise in a month
