These kinds of unsophisticated gimmicks will make Bradford a laughing stock.

Quite a few teams did stuff like this at the beginning of Super League, and going back to all that now is a real retrograde step.

Salford were another club with an anthem for every player, and some of them were truly ridiculous. One poor lad's name was never mentioned without the accompaniment of the theme to 'The Vikings'. Even that day we lost there in the cup, that brought chuckles to the Wigan fans.

Having said that i LOVE going there for many reasons, its a gimme of a win preceded and followed by fabulous beer and top notch curry!

LOL sounds like desperate measures from a desperate club. I remember Saints being at Warrington and them playing Tom Hark everytime the high bomb went up at Wilderspool.....it worked with Sully dropping/missing them and they beat us something like 54-22. But a week later we beat Bradford and lifted the CC and Wire didn't beat us for years after. They are asking for trouble pulling stunts like this. Talk about walking round with egg on your face, well played by the way yesterday, you looked good on SLFT.

they need these guys doing the pa announcements. would sound a lot more professional than the current set up

I remember when 'wooly bully' used to haunt us years ago after vainakolo had gone over for his 5th try of the night or deacon had knocked another one over from the touch line as we all stood there in a shock waiting for it to be over with, yesterday Wigan fans were actually dancing to it

thats correct..but they only play it when the balls dead.
rest of the time when the games in play its silence.........thats why Bradfords attempt is anoying.

maybe the RFL need to step in to stop blatant gamesmanship and fine Bradford.................................................................or put their rent up

Its ok for you, you have heard it and you dont have to again until next year (please god dont let it go on that long) and you dont have to listen to it every single time at every home game. It got tired after the 2nd time when we played catalan

The malaise at Wigan in 2005 went much deeper than just poor performances on the pitch. The relationship between the coach and the team had malfunctioned, but the club management had completely taken their eye off the ball. Wigan RL was a ship without a helmsman.

The turn-around only came when IL took over, brought in his own people and authorised a complete rebuild from the bottom up, and even that took several years.

That may be the only way for Bradford to regain anything like the glory years they once enjoyed.

ATM there just doesn't seem any passion or common sense eg. with the music after kick offs and when the team sheet is read out oh what i would give for a crowd cheer instead.

if we fail to make playoffs again even if season tickets cost £5 they will have trouble selling them, we need a total revamp from the ground up imo, we also need a roof

No arguments about the roof. I don't know what the situ is at Bradford regarding a new ground, ground refurbishments, etc, but at present Odsal is a truly awful; a nightmare to visit in bad weather. The old Central Park was a typical 20th century stadium, and very dated, but - and I honestly and sincerely mean this - Odsal is more reminiscent of the 19th century.

Bradford have never changed anything since the start of SL and this is their problem both on and off the pitch. Times have changed, Bradford have not and are paying for that now.

Bradford at the moment remind me of the trips to Keighly when they were riding high on the cusp of a place in Super League, cringe worthy to say the least.
