Liam Farrell is an absolute gem, maybe even as much as Sam but just alot less noticeable.

When I first saw that he'd signed for Penrith, I assumed an amateur club in Cumbria.

I thought SL overseas scouts were bad, but it looks like the ones in the NRL are just as bad - Tansey, Mason, Mathers and now Worrincy.

He'll have gone for about £3.85 a year for the experience and won't make a squad. Penrith will be taking a blind flyer on him doing OK in the feeder team IMO.

Is this Rob Worrincy? Who is his brother? Plays for Sheffield I think. He's one of them players that is a good athlete but sadly lacks a little in the skill side of the game. Maybe Penrith can work on this...

I've said before that i've not seen a player look as comfortable in the first team as quickly has Farrell has been for a very long time and I include Sam in that. Obviously Sam is a freak of a player and is going to be one of the very best in the game but Farrell has come in and just looks like a total pro with 10 years first team experience at the back of him. He just does everything well and keeps it really simple.

I'd agree with that. Farrell looks like he's been a first teamer for years.
