The Truth that vectrabeast speaks of can't be discussed on these boards.

Things that can't be discussed on these boards tend to be lies that could leave it open to liable actions. If its the truth then there usually isn't really a problem.

If there is negativity toward Hock it stems from, in my opinion, that he seemingly wanted/wants to leave after no time at all following Wigan sticking by him during the ban and giving him a five year deal. That is all the fans can see so its hardly being unreasonable.

If it's the rumour I think it is then that's probably right, what with it being a rumour and all!

I highly doubt the real truth will ever come out Hock will move on to either Salford or Widnes this season the possibly Australia for 2014 unless Wane is gone at the end of this season and very few people if anyone will ever know the real truth.

That's the safest kind of 'truth' of course, and the most fun. The one so terrible that you can never, ever tell anyone, under any circumstances.

So which story about Hock is true then?

1 - He has failed a drugs test and that's why he didn't play against Catalans

2 - He has signed for Parramatta?

3 - He didn't go to Florida because Wigan have sacked him for fighting with team mates?

4 - He didn't go to Florida because Wigan have sacked him for failing a drugs test in house?

5 - He is going out on loan because he's fallen out with Shaun Wane?


I'm sure given the load of nonsense above that people will forgive me for believing it when I see it.

These rumours have rumbled on for far too long. There is something going on and the club should now break their stance of not commenting on rumours and put out a statement to shut the rumour mongers up.

If the club are getting rid then this is strange considering they stood by hiom for two years unless he has done something. This speculation needs to be brought to an end.

The idea we'd send him on loan because he and Wane have fallen out is bizarre. It's supposedly so if Wane leaves at the end of the season Hock can come back under a new coach. Really?

Given the rumour I heard was Hock fell out with IL over a bonus payment (which is why he was supposedly being sold to Parra) that would mean IL was going out of his way to accommodate a player he wanted to sell.

It's all getting silly and the "no comment" from the club and Wane just fuels the speculation. It's all over the press as well.

So if Wigan want rid for whatever reason they should just stick him on the transfer list.

If no club meets the valuation Wigan put on him and Wigan won't sell for less then that's the end of any move anywhere and all parties need to be told to get on and do their jobs.

Isn't the fact the IL wouldn't let Hock go to Australia effectively saying that he is available if the right transfer fee is paid?

Our great club is slowly falling apart. Its such a shame

I wasn't suggesting that should be done. I was suggesting he be put on the transfer list i.e. make him available if the club no longer wants him as a player. If the offers that would undoubtedly come in didn't match what Wigan wanted then that should be the end of the matter and everyone should get on with it. Hock in the team (and accepting that is the way things are), Wane coaching him and IL letting them do that.



And if it isn't? Do the club want him here or not is what I'd like to know. What are they going to do if they don't and can't get how mich cash they want in a transfer fee? Send him on loan for the rest of his contract?

Nonsense. The club seem to be trying to act with some discretion in the face of Hock's intransigence and clear ingratitude to all that Wigan and IL have done for him given his past sins. The club is unlikely to 'wash its hands' of him as that may weaken the negotiating position for a transfer fee.

I'm beginning to wonder how many posters on this board check under the bed for bogey men before sleep....
