I am talking more the posters with whom Shaun Wane is damned if he does and damned if he doesnt. Whatever he does, and whatever the players or IL do, it will still be Shaun Wane that is wrong in their eyes and it will all be Shaun Wane's fault. Various threads have shown this to be the case since Day 1 when he was appointed.

If the Club came out and said they would be happy if we didn't win any trophies, there would be meltdown.
So when they say they want a trophy, its immediately stated that 'this means if we don't the coach is a failure and he should go'.
What do want the Club to say ? You have to give the right message about expectation and ambition before the start of the season. I would want every player and coach at the Club to expect to be in the fight for silverware again this year. However, that doesn't mean that if we don't win any, its been a complete failure.
If we have another season like last, I would feel that SW has done a decent job and deserves to keep his position. I'd be disappointed, but realistically, it would be OK.

His contract is two years with an option of a third. A final appearance might get him that extra year, a CC or GF win would guarantee it IMO.

If he does get his extra year without winning a trophy or even getting to a final then 2014 will definitely be win a CC or GF or leave.

Shaun Wane receives fantastic support from Wigan fans as a Wiganer and an ex player. The reverse is true of your post, Shaun Wane can do no wrong is far more common than the reverse. Brian Noble was given a far rougher time despite being a proven coach and after failing to deliver a CC and/or GF win his contract was allowed to conclude and not renewed by Ian Lenagan. So for you to imagine that now delivering a CC or GF success is not the minimum required suggests you do not understand the high expectations of Ian Lenagan. Thankfully, Ian Lenagan is in charge of Wigan and has been as vocal as you can be about what success equates to. Do you honestly think Ian Lenagan invests so much money in youth and sometimes signing without expecting them to deliver success. There are no excuses. Leeds have delivered success whilst rebuilding, St Helens have been rebuilding. The last few seasons have been the time for Wigan and Warrington to enjoy success. Both clubs have achieved some success but also under achieved.

Perhaps you should send your information to the club, it's obviously troubling you greatly... And i'm not being flippant, if you have concerns, and you are a Wigan fan, you should inform the club of your concerns.

Understand what you're saying but it's not up to me as a fan of the club to get involved but I can have an opinion based on what I have been told by players that have left the left the club and by players that are still there.

Yes, is giving my opinion a problem? If you thought a player was poor and there was a discussion about said player would you not comment saying that you thought the player was poor? I think our coach is poor based on what I have been told about his methods and the treatment of some players at the club, does this offend you?

Questioning results and performance is one thing, questioning his professional integrity is another.

I could go on if you like, I don't agree with the way he presents himself to the media and some of his decision making has been poor, his team selection for the widnes game, playing murphy against Leeds.
