Absolutely gutted that Liam Byrne has had a haircut.

We look very small in contact and getting yardage is still difficult. We’ll have no problem when we get in the opposition 20m but we have to get there.

Weird half really. Played some top stuff at times, been so sloppy at others and goal kicking has let us down. The atmosphere is adding to the game and we’ve not helped ourselves at points. I see enough to know it won’t be boring again this season.

We look threatening - sloppy errors, poor Toby King defence and no goal kicks have let us down.

Tony King can't defend. Been saying it since before we signed him. We targeted him at Wire last year and now teams are doing the same Vs us - Wigan's gift to the the rest of SL.

Outside of that, there's positives and we've left points on the table. Not the end of the world, but we need to be better in this half.

As a side note, having three quota lads not playing highlights how wrong we've got it on that front.

Outstanding? He's s been at fault for two tries. One where he doesn't even try to contest the kick and the pathetic attempt on SKD.

If you are going to have a pop at any of our team in the first half you are looking at the wrong edge.

Absolute garbage. Iv'e been waiting 4 or 5 months to witness the 'back to usual' rubbish. I have never known a side be so ill disciplined and it's been going on ever since Madge left. Nobody has the ability (or balls) to rein them in. No Grand Final win this year.

Keep digging - a guy who's been responsible for three opposition scores is "outstanding" and a lad who's bagged one is anonymous.

Smith tackle was for offside, not the tackle itself.

Agreed it wasn't a yellow for Smithies IMO, but raising the elbow for some reason probably went against him.

Been far too loose in many areas. When you go in to an atmosphere like this, against a side determined to start fast for a new coach, you’ve got to be disciplined and keep errors low. We’ve been everything you can’t afford to be.

I’m not digging he was out only back making meters in the first half.

In regards the rest of the game. Very poor. Getting bullied all over the park and our only response is to give away niggling penalties.

Great defensive effort this far in the second half by King, trying to offload in his carry though has really hurt us.
