We have a poor first half and feel lucky to only be 6-12 down. We play a bit better after half time and get one back but when Kevin Sinfield boots a drop goal with 3 to go and we get that familiar sinking feeling. Then we start the last set a metre from our own line. Sam breaks but Hall catches him by his bootlaces, Leeds regroup and it looks like we won't have time, then Scott Taylor rams straight over the top of Ryan Bailey to score the winner under the sticks and the south stand goes MENTAL. Leeds players are screaming bloody murder at the ref, they claim forward pass, knock on, use of the elbow, war crimes, everything. Phil Bentham's not having it, try time!

we come out firing on all cylinders and blow them away in the first 20 minutes. We put the cue on the rack at half time and hold on in the face of a leeds comeback

10k at most looking at etickets. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was only 12k last year. Doesn't matter how many are there, just get behind the team.

FWIW we've sold almost 2k tickets as of this morning.

Apart from the obvious, cash, I can't understand why people wont turn up for what has the potential to be the best game of the season.
Whether you're in favour of the play-off system or not, this is the kind of game you surely want to see.

I agree, plus on top of the importance of the game, it's the last time we will see 2 of our best players of the last 4 seasons at the DW. Get your tickets bought people!

I wonder if these games were free to season ticket holders would we get 20,000 crowds?? I get the feeling some people don't go because it'll be a low crowd - if that makes sense?
Also only having 5 days of knowing your opponent doesn't help.
We are the only sport in the land that gives people 4 or 5 days notice of a game! (I know that can't be helped in playoffs)

FA Cup games can be exactly the same if there are replays involved.

Latics didn't know they were playing Huddersfield until the Tuesday and they played on the Sunday (our game was moved to Saturday)
