You've highlighted one of the things I'd love this season - a big Cup match at home. It's unbelievable that, despite having played there for 12 years, we're yet to have a really meaningful, competitive cup match at the JJB/DW.

Any chance of the game being in Barcelona Dave, that would be handy.

I don't know what to do, my bithday is 3rd June, I was thinking of going to the MAgic Weekend no matter where it is for the weekend beforre the fixtures were announced. But that is on the 25th May' and I wanted to watch Wigan in France that is on the 9th JUne there is no way I can do both because of my flaming kids and getting some one to look after them! Which one shall I go for?

Stayed in Tossa last year, nice place, try Mick and julies bar has the rugby on.

The game won't be in Barcelona. I think it will be a good while before we see a match held there, if ever agaon.

I'd recommend Tossa, Palamos, Begur, Girona and at a push Platja d'Aro.
I'd avoid Palafrugell, L'Escala and Empuriabrava

Only been once but thought it was a nice little town. In June they usually have a few festivals going on so you might be able to catch one.

Why you say that, out of interest?

The game lost a lot of money last time. There were over 18,000 there but almost everyone was from Warrington or North Catalonia. Some Wires stayed in and around Barcelona but the majority of other fans went there and back the same day so didn't spend their money in the city. I doubt very much the council will want to repeat that, especially at the moment when the Catalan and Spanish governements are making cuts left, right and centre.

Only 2 games after Wembley and they're both tough. Another Cup win and we're unlikely to finish top, although I would glady take the Wembley win.
