Why the delay? Surely the advantage of having so long between the quarters and semis is you get longer to sell tickets but straight away the RFL are taking 3 weeks off that.

I would have preferred Doncaster and it is one ground I haven't been too and a lot closer for me than Huddersfield!

Donny ground is a nightmare to get to/away from given the one road in and out.

Suits me , plenty of tickets no mad scramble, we could well get the side, practice tomorrow, short trip for us.

Maybe the RFL have got a huge media launch for 'The Road to Wembley'.
Maybe they are taking extra time to plan the huge marketing campaign which will see both venues sell-out.
Maybe they are busy contacting businesses from the towns of the teams involved including the host venue towns... in an attempt to sell large corporate packages.
Maybe they are busy making an advert starring Sam Tomkins, Richie Myler, Danny McGuire and Danny Brough, to be shown in the Northern Regions.
Maybe they are planning visits to schools in Huddersfield and Salford in order to drum up support for the events and encourage young people to come along and enjoy the entertainment in and outside the stadiums.
Maybe they are planning to increase the demand over these 3 weeks so the tickets fly out when they go on sale.

In conclusion, tickets will go on sale on wednesday 6th June announced on the websites and facebook pages. The RFL will then hope for the best and then close one of the stands at the Galpharm so it looks good on tv. The same process will be repeated for the final and a nice video will be posted on youtube of previous challenge cup finals. Success.

Are we now moving on from whinging about the geographic location of the venue to whinging about the time of day?

I await the tickets details so we can then whinge about which stands we've been given.

I actually think its a good idea that hey are holding back on the tickets. The RFl has put a lot of time into promoting the "magic weekend" this time and they want as many people spending their money on tickets for that first. We sold around 10000 tickets in just over a week for the quarter final of the cup so dont panic!

if we get the Kilner Bank stand that would be outstanding, we'd fill that end to end, great kick off time imo

Will there be an announcement about the colour of the tickets?

Are we any closer to finding out what stand are we in behind the sticks for the Semi final as there on sale next Wednesday, i hope its the double decker was in there a few years ago for GB V NZ (the game Deacon got his mouth/lip smashed open) and was a beltin view and alot better then the away end which we was in the other week.

Our end is the normal away stand.

Delay is because its an RFL event and they rightly wanted to prioritise with Magic. Then we have a long bank holiday anyway so.....
