I thought he played pretty well last night.

His body language seemed positve and he seemed full of confidence which reflected onto his performance.

He just needs to gain consistancy.

He is a shadow of his former self from his Bradford days which is a mystery as he was storming for them. Why do you think this is so ?

Because he had three other good big props playing alongside him.

he still needs to go, hopefully if Nobby is on his way he will take him with him or stuart should do the decent thing and retire or at least ask for a release so he can go elsewhere on his own, couldn't break wind that fella, Brady Malam caused more of problem for the oppositions defence and we all know how that signing worked out

Four if you count Peacock who for a long time played second row at Bradford. You could argue they had props on the wings aswell!

When the Rhinos signed Jamie Peacock a lot of people moaned that we should have signed Fielden instead. After the character Peacock showed in leading the Bulls to GF glory in 2005 I knew Rhinos had aquired someone who nearly always gave 100% on the pitch. But rather than say "told you so" to the pro-Fielden brigade, I would rather say how sorry it is to see a former world class prop reduced to a mere shadow of his Bradford self.

Personally feel he needs to gain some weight as IMO he is lightweight compared to his bradford days

Mossop looked bigger than Fielden tonight. A 20 year old second row shouldnt be bigger than a 30 year old prop

I thought Fielden played well last night apart from the c*ck up at the play the ball which led to the last Cas try, but he was injured so didn't get his leg out of the way.

At the game I thought it was Riddells fault, but watching it again it was probably the very poor play the ball.

Fileden was the best prop on the park last night, I just wish we had another big, nasty, horrible prop to play alongside him.

I thought Fielden looked up for the game - I feel you can always tell whether you're going to get a decent performance from him or a shocking one from his first couple of carries. When he's up for it, he can still be an asset - mainly in defence but also with quick the play balls when he's allowed to do them.

The problem with Fielden is he appears to be a broken man. Im not sure his body allows him to compete for anymore than 40 minutes in a game nevermind week in week out.

Said it before....its almost unimaginable now but those two were on a par as the best props in the country and up there in the world when we got fielden!! What a difference we would have seen if only we'da gone for peacock......I would think we would have seen some silverwear by now tbh!

TBF Fielden always peak's at this time of year. I would give him a rest until the play offs and see what the boy Davies has to offer.

Thats could be a good idea considering we are nailed on for 5th/6th place in the league and a home draw.

Remember peacock signed for Leeds as he has been a life long Leeds fan!! That why he has been as awesome as he as!! If you signed him you would have got a good player but we have got something extra special because it means so much to jp to pull on the Leeds shirt

Fielden is done for me, too much too young, he was almost a 60 min prop from the age of about 21!

Any body has only a certain number of miles on the clock at any sport, and in this country we have a habbit of overplaying our young stars, Flintoff, Owen to name two from other sports and Burgess from RL more recently

And for those calling for Mossop to be moved to prop, two words why he shouldnt be, Stuart Fielden! Leave the lad in the back row, and promote him to prop in about 4-5 years like they did with Peacock

I watched it and wasnt sure if it was the catalan game or the wire one just gone....its a carbon copy that match!! play aweful in the first half so that the other team build up and unassalable lead, build your hopes up of the comeback only for a drop goal and late try to kill it
