Just heard from someone 'in the know' that IL has splashed out on a 22,000 capacity stadium, building work started this morning and the club hopes to have it completed for next Wednesday evening, just in time for next Thursdays game. The Wigan fans will be located in the 'Boston End', the 'Edwards End', and the 'Farrell End', whilst the Saints fans will be sat in the 'Bell End'.

My family takes much offence that you dont think this rumour is true even though we dont.

The guy is a coach for the Lions squad that is going to South Africa this summer. It's something that Edwards has always said he wants to do in RU so there is no way a guy like Edwards would walk away from an opportunity/challenge/commitment like that!

As much as I doubt this, Edwards hasn't exactly done too well with wasps this year, failing to make the heineken cup and playoffs could see him outed, there may be something in this.

I do occasionally wonder if we overrate Shaun's abilities. While there's no doubt he drives himself mercilessly, is a born winner and a Wiganer through and through, I too have heard criticisms of him aired at club RU level.

Is he really that hot a coach?

I've still to be convinced that he could breeze into a SL club and take the top job. I'd expect him to serve some (albeit brief) apprenticeship first.

Even if he is sacked from Wasps which i doubt it he would not mover North until his son leaves school. Also if he did come to League he would loose his place in the Welsh coaching set up and the Lions set up and he wants to prove himself at international level as well i think this is a none starter at present but who know in a few years time.

I think many people including myself are looking through cherry and white tinted glasses.
