I don't understand why they are selling tickets for the away end full stop. These should be allocated to Wigan and season ticket holders only allowed first dibs given they're gonna sell pretty fast.

That's a very good point Woody. The game is going to sell out fast so as a season ticket holder I wont be happy if I cant get a ticket because Saints have put our tickets on general sale

Nowt that anyone can do about it really. RL is years behind football in terms of rules to do with situations like this.

In regards to the £5.00 p&p from St Helens, it will cost more than that in fuel driving to St Helens and paying parking etc.

It's unreserved seating too.

It's terrible. Saints have had problems with it ever since a new company set it up for them prior to the season starting. I'm glad I've got a season ticket!

Presumably Wigan will have been notified that Saints were making tickets available. However, it is possible that they were only supposed to be available for Saints fans at this stage. We don't go in the West Stand as that is the away end. Saints fans tend to 'fight' over the scraps left in the East Stand (mostly filled by season ticket holders) and then the North Stand, as the South Stand is the most expensive but also has the most seats available for non-season ticket holders.

Why not call Saints direct and ask why the tickets are available when Wigan have yet to receive an allocation? It may be just a problem with the website rather than a decision on Saints' behalf to make tickets available to Wigan fans so far ahead of the alloction being sent over.

all west stand tickets taken off sale and being sent to Wigan 'tonight'.
she admitted they had been on sale over the weekend but now they no longer are and will be sold via the Wigan club.

I really don't understand why Saints don't just give Wigan one of the side stands (North or South) for this game and make it a reasonable price (say £20 and £15 for concessions) One of those stands was almost empty for their game against Warrington.

They will be available once Saints send them



Don't see why the North or South couldn't be used as well but that is a bridge to be crossed once the West sells out (don't forget this is an annual scramble that usually turns out to be much ado about nothing).

Ahh if it's the 1 ST 1 Ticket policy I'll have to miss the game, the Mrs is over and I can't go and leave her at home. She'd never forgive me for not taking her.

there is nothing stopping anyone buying a ticket in the South Stand.

Because Saints charge more for the South Stand and the North Stand is almost totally given over to Saints season ticket holders (who may or may not turn up). Same with the East Stand. That is sold out before every game because it is almost totally taken by season ticket holders.

You'll get the West Stand at a good price. If you fill that, you may then be offered seats in the South Stand. You could go there anyway if you don't mind paying an extra few quid. You'd be on the telly then.

Ive bought 3 tickets in the South stand block G. It will probably be full of Wiganers anyway

Booked mine for the away end earlier today. Just in time by th sounds of it. Don't have to worry about being on hold for half an hour now when they go on sale at Wigan
