Back too the cross rumour in IL and madge I trust if they feel Cross would bring something to the team that they feel is missing then I place 100% trust in them both.

All this moaning because we are signing a player with a point to prove for less than half a season? Its not the end of the world. Even if he just plays to help keep our first choice forwards fresh for the end of the season when it matters then surely he will be worth it. I dont think we have a great deal to lose if a deal like this comes off.

I'd have no problem signing him, as a 6th choice prop for the rest of the season.

Can't see where he'd get a game though, we aren't exactly in the habit of resting players unless our hand is forced by a minor(+) injury, and Fielden can't be too far off surely?

those of you that remember pongia signing will remember that he was absolutely dross, god awful for about 7 or 8 games. he was so bad in his debut (quins away i think) that i honestly thought it was a joke signing.

he turned out to be a beast. i would have problem boosting squad depth with a guy who has ability and a point to prove. if it doesnt work out so what? send him on his way...

Without causing offence, i would argue that Wane and MM will get far out of him as a player than McDermott did.

You dont go from being a good player over an entire career to a bad un in less than 6 months.
