Feel more sorry for Halifax to be honest, as said they met the criteria before so it's strange they don't now, and they must've had a much better application than Wakefield just for the ground situation.

All in all though, it's right Crusaders have gone. For me it should've been between them, Wakey and Quins. The alleged surge in youngsters playing RL in London really helped Quins and I hope that pays off throughout 2012-14. Crusaders just weren't getting the crowds and so it's right they're going down. That's if they even exist in 2012.

I think they should bring back P and R with some of the rules from licensing , this licensing is garbage the RFL should go through with the original decision and knock the team down who they was gona relegate originally . Crusader s just made there job easy for them .

bring back promotion and relegation, have a 2 year licence and the 2 worst performing clubs over that period are relegated and the 2 most financially stable come up, simple's, also get rid of play offs, top place nice trophy, top 2 play for the cup, bring in 3 origin style games (GB v Exiles) during July between the weeks that the Aussie State of Origin is on thus stretching the weekly rounds to the end of September with playing less games and maybe even strengthening our national side

theres alot of good ideas and workable ideas around, but the rfl is full or arrogant so, and so's and will never change and admit fault.

None of it makes much sense to me. Can someone please explain why Widnes got advised when they did? I don't understand.

Fax have as good an application as Widnes and Wakey surley? If not better looking at Wakey's financial situation.

I can understand the Crusaders decision as they are abviously struggling to keep up financially with other SL clubs but for crying out loud, you'd think they'd tell the players, coaches, staff etc before going public.

Its an absoulute disgrace, and if I was a Fax fan id be absoulutely fuming. How the hell can Wakefield possibly have a better application than Halifax??? Somebody please enlighten me. Belle Vue is an absoulute dump, they have been stringing people along with this "we are getting a new ground" for years, youth development and crowds are also pathetic, so, Wakefield are going to play at Belle Vue next season..........................What a farce.

Iv been on VT, the Wakey board, the Halifax board, and have still not seen a valid reason for Wakefield having a better application than Halifax.

Better crowds, better youth /academy structure.

Better crowds is hardly a fair criterion to beat them with.

Wakey get Leeds, Wigan and Saints playing there. Halifax have Leigh, Batley and Widnes.

Crusaders last 5 games are going to be absolutely pointless.

You really think if Fax were in SL that Wakefield would get better crowds????????

When both clubs were in SL, Fax were getting consistently better crowds than Wakey (apart from their disastrous 2003 season).

and another point is how they can say Leeds have an A grade stadium is beyond me maybe they should try standing in the pooring rain one night.
I also feel that somewhere in the licensing agreement there should be an encouragement to clubs to try and improve their away following as we have seen at Wigan this year even some of the so called 'A' grade clubs dont have strong away following and as been said n this forum before away fans make the atmosphere and much needed revenue for clubs and is very important in the success of super league.

Wakefield have gotten through by the skin of their teeth, and if this isn't the kick up the backside they needed to sort themselves out I dont know what is. Hopefully come 2014 all of the clubs in the SL are in a much better position along with 4 or 5 strong applications from the Championship.

The RFL love Headingley for some reason. Never a grade A stadium in a million years with that away stand. Nice to see several teams moving up a grade though, Saints should be an A team next time around and Salford, hopefully Cas and Wakey should all be in new stadia by then.

In three years Catalans may have their third new stand open, that will be some ground and a great atmosphere.
Leeds as an A grade is laughable. Open terracing and parts of the south stand still barricaded off as being unsafe!
All that work over months by the RFL then Crusaders bin it in the last 24 hours.
Were they persuaded to withdraw or did they take the RFL by surprise? That's what I'd like to know?

It comes down to more than just stadia and for that reason salford will never be an A grade.
