If Prescott,Flower and H come back fully fit look on the bright side these players have had a rest and you can add Hock into the equation as well with his suspension .Now we only need to rest a few of the forwards and the busines end is looking good barring injury not like last year when Maguire was reluctant to rest players give Wane his credit he is not scared of playing the young lads who have proved themselves no end AKA Leeds .They have sent a message to the senior players watch out I'm at your heels and there is a fight for places .

I think that this strength in depth we have in the forwards is going to make a big difference at the pointy end of the season.

It certainly is and we should not burn the players out as bad as last year time for a rotation when all are fit.

This is where Warrington could suffer, they seem to rely on Moz being fit and leading the pack. That may be a psychological factor for them come playoff time. We have a system into which people just slot in seamlessly.

We have lost dudson but have prescott, flower and hock available for selection for the widnes match in 2 weeks. We need to make sure that we come through the exiles game without injury

I'd give Crosby a run out against Widnes.

I wonder if Thornley might get a run out against Widnes, been a while since George had a rest and he'll probably be playing for the Exiles, and Thornley played in the 9s last week.

George hasnt raelly played that many games anyway with being injured, I can also see him not playing for the Exiles and having the week off instead.

Apart from Feath away in the cup, he hasn't missed a game since Widnes away at the beginning of March. I think the next run of games, without being disrespectful to the teams we play as we all remember what happened at Widnes, are an excellent opportunity to blood some of the youngsters a go. 2/3 at a time though, not wholesale changes and have experienced players on the bench if they are needed. There is talk of bringing Russell back for a couple of games to rest Sam, could also be a good opportunity for Thornley, Mellor, Spencer, Burke etc. Say play Russell, Thornley and Spencer against Widnes, then Mellor and Burke against Bradford for example.

Looking at the Exiles squad, I think George will play in atleast 1 of the games.

Why would he not play for Exiles?

Can you imagine the problems if our injurys were in the backs instead of the forwards and out injured were Tomkins, Pat, Charnley, Finch, Golding and George!!!!

it looked like a badly sprained ankle and im sure most of us know how bad they hurt, it hurt less when i actually fractured my ankle.

so another player that will get a well earned rest and be fresh for the end of the season.............just need to do enough to make sure the next 5 league games are won with a good points diff, and a win in the cup semi.

Fantastic news about Dudson. We will need everybody fit towards the end of the season to try and get top spot a few games early and keep players fresh.

Blow that with the way he's been playing but again one mans loss is another mans opportunity and Prescott and Flower should be back soon.

It's been a blessing that our injuries are coming mainly in the forwards as theres no way we could cope with as many in the backs. Let hope that doesn't change anytime soon.

warrington have been rotating forwards most of the season, moz has been injured on 2 occasions this season and our younger forwards have stepped up to the plate with very few problems. both wigan and warrington have learned a lot from last season when it comes to squad rotation and resting players.
