Which area in the middle tier are any Wigan fans in?

Also, any idea where the Wigan fans will be gathering in the unreserved section?

Wherever we can get by the sounds of it.

Bottom tier sold out and good sales on the middle tier have forced them to open more sections.

65,000 tickets sold to date which is more then actually turned up last year so thats very promising. Here's hoping with a decent walk up we can break the 75k barrier.

My ticket from the club has entry via turnstile M, which is the South stand at the Etihad, opposite to the end last year.
I presume you'll be able to walk round the entire concourse again, so you can go to the opposite end if you want?

Didn't go last year but have ordered two tickets today for the unreserved section. Is this level one, ie that nearest the pitch? Also, if Wigan's reserved allocation is in the South Stand, which level(s) will that be on? Ta!

If you find yourselves on the opposite end of the ground to the Wigan fans before the game there is no way to make your way towards them under the gantry due to the corporate dining areas on the halfway line on both sides.

What you need to do is wait until the end (or half time) of one of the games when all the prawn butty brigade have made their way to the bar and then walk through a full block of seats, we did this last year and nobody bothered us.

Once on the other side of the corporate, then make your way to the gantry and go where ever you want from then.

We've got reserved tickets from Wigan - enter through turnstile J - so looks like us 'reserved' Wiganers will be on the corner of the East/South stand. Hopefully you 'unreserved' lot will join us!

If you order through the club you get the South Stand so I'm guessing that's where most Wigan fans will be?

or go back out and then go back in thro the other turnstile

My unreserved one also says enter turnstiles K or B. best bet is to wait till half way through the second half of the Bradford hudds game and you'll see the Wigan fans start to gather, then just head to where ever they gather

In terms of direct sales from clubs, rather than through the RFL etc, Hull have sold the most tickets.

We (wigan) have sold more tickets than last year so there will be a big following from us again.

Have you been walking round with your eyes shut? There's loads. Practically every metrolink stop has one, there at Deansgate, Oxford Rd and Victoria station (pretty sure I saw one at the Airport station too). There's also a number of them on bus stops and those road side interxhangable boards too. I was actually pretty impressed at the number I saw. The one in Deansgate station has been there a while.

Is there a pay on the day option?

It's usually quite expensive

I think its £30 for a day ticket for sunday (unreserved) if there are any left, i think reserved are £35

Had reports of people not being allowed to take any food and drink in today, anyone else had this, might have to leave the pies at home tomorrow !

You can take a bottle of water in, that's it.
