Fielden has the potential to give us that bit extra that we need to win this. I was very impressed with his first half against Hull KR he was running into tackles and making good yards. His second stint he went off the boil slightly.

Ive a feeling Saturday he will really be up for it and put in one of his best performances in a Wigan shirt yet.

He's been on the right road for a fair few weeks now, nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see him roll back the years against Saints.

One thing which would raise him ten fold in the eyes of us fans would be to look after Tomkins if KFC has a go at him just jump staright in and chin Cunningham simple as.

If he were to clock one of them and put in a great performance, all would be forgiven.

Joel Tomkins ? He'd get thrown into next week. I have never seen anybody have a go at Cunningham! Why ? because he is well respected and is a fair tough cookie. Just like Andy Farrell was for you guys.

Agreed! Usually comes across as being a hard player but fair KFC. Although that cheap shot punch in the tackle a month or so ago was out of order.

There's no doubt that were Stuart Fielden to put in a performance similar to what he did against Penrith on Saturday night he'd boost are chances of winning massively.

Graham is a superb player and I'd have him in a heart beat at Wigan however rolling the clock back 5 years an inform Fielden is far better than Graham.

Theres also no doubt that if Leon pryce and Sean Long turned into Andrew Johns and Brad Fittler of the past then it would no doubt boost our chances of a victory!

Of course it's never going to happen but theres no doubting Fielden was once the best in the world at prop.

Pryce and Long have never been the best in the world in there chosen positions and certainly have never obtained the kind of form and skill that Fittler and John's did.

Agreed. It's only been suggested that Fielden should rediscover the form that he once showed. That's far less a stretch than asking Long and Pryce to show the sort of form that they've NEVER been capable of.

I may be mistaken, but Sean Long's got more Lance Todd medals than your whole squad put together (3 more, has he got 3 more than your whole squad?). Even if you don't rate him, if he produced like he could/can, you'd be in serious bother.

Pity for us he's half blind.

On Fielden; I know he's been a bit of a running joke since his big money transfer, but the last year or so (from what I've seen) he's sorted himself into being a proper, if not exceptional, front row again and is naturally heavy enough to do a decent job for you guys driving and tackling. His next contract negotiations might be a little hard for him to take though.

At the same time were bringing him on your Bringing Hargreaves on!
