Only one I could really question is Joel Monaghan, King has been twice the player all season and thats just from Wire.

IMO they should play the dream team against the Aussies, that would be worth a watch.

Some debates can be had but I think it is hard to say any of those should not be in the team or don't deserve it.

I think the only real contentious one could be Roby/M Monaghan. Other than that it seems fine.

Same side I picked on the VT bar king over Monaghan and Hoffman over Menzies.

I'd have had Menzies in a couple of months back but he like Catalans have lost some gas and King should be a shoe in over Monaghan.

Michael Monaghan has put in the best seasons worth of performances not to make the dream team ever but Roby is top class and couldn't be left out.

Seems a reasonable pick, the only ones I would question are the same others are questioning. J Monaghan over King; Menzies over Hoffman.

As for Roby/M. Monaghan. I could certainly see a valid case for both, but I would go with Roby too as he's the reason Saints have finished third as opposed to say 6th.

I expect Ryan Atkins to be fairly close too, particularly following his performance against Hull.

I think Roby is superb but I still think Monaghan should have edged it. But I would be just as happy to have Roby in Wigans team or in Englands team as I would Monaghan (if he was English and could play for England obviously haha)


What I do have an issue with is how Hoffman can miss out?! Hes easily the best 2nd row in the league right now.

The Monaghan and Roby issue was always going to be touch and go.

Menzies shouldn't be in there for me though.

Hoffman and Manu would be my 2 second row forwards, and King would be in over Dog lover, other than that no complaints. Maybe Finch over Dureau.

true, his upper body strength is immense apparently... i just don't know why we don't get a bunch of body builders in and put them at centre

Not really, he's an absolute stud. he may be 39 but if somebody told me Menzies was replacing Hoffman at Wigan next season, I wouldn't exactly be disappointed.
