Why would gelling drop out of the team? He has been playing neither wing nor stand off and has been one of our best performers these last few weeks.

Neither of those two will be the ones to shift Gelling. I would not mind seeing Charnley in the centres but at the moment the question is who to play along side Gelling not instead of him. Even so Gelling will still end up in the pack and probably do a good job.

I agree with the team missing Blake Green, I thought we lacked direction and organisation yesterday and he would of made a big difference.

However I also thought we missed Scott Taylor big time!

Green and Taylor were definitely the big misses yesterday.

We'll miss them next year as well.

The XIII you could put together of player that have left the club in the last 4 years would probably finish Top 4. It's remarkable that we're still in contention.

It just seems far too strong to be rumour. One person who's stories I tend to trust are Phil Wilkinson's as well tbh and when he was asked how likely Taylor was to go to Hull his reply was 'very'.

I know the WEP had a bad rep for poor rumours under Aspinall but Phil Wilkinson seems far more reliable.

IMO, you don't have to go that far back. He's twice the player Karl Pryce was for us. Aspinwall, Wes Davies, possibly even Ainscough (minus the blistering speed, certainly better in defence).

I'm not even going to mention the early 80's (Bamford, Murphy years)!

There is a poster on Mike's forum that claims to know both Taylor and his wife and he says the pair of them know nothing about asking to go leave to go back to Hull. He is adamant about it.

Of course that doesn't mean IL wouldn't sell him if offered enough cash!

Manfredi hasn't done much wrong intact he has been really good, Charnley will have to improve on his last few games in a Wigan shirt.

I was quite impressed with Manfredi on Saturday. He seems really strong for his size and even though I haven't seen any stats he appeared to make decent yards with the ball when he had it.

I've heard it all now people are staring to slate Gelling in the words of Steven Mulhearn "Unbelievable" He's been one of our best players this season and been our most threatening attacker by far. What i would personally like to see is Rocky Hampshire given a staring role in the halves maybe see what he can do although i can see why shaun found it hard to leave george out because he's been outstanding in both defence and attack.

Gelling was probably your best player yesterday. I also found it strange how he left it so late to being Hampshire on.

If your playing is as clueless as your ability to judge a player, then no you couldn't do better. Clown
