It makes it all the more outrageous that sky can come up with decent adverts like that but the RFL still go into the season without a sponsor of the league.........

I'm not sure they should have shown Sam until the end, but it's a good advert for the game and a good advert for Wigan.

They should of used Hock in his new Widnes top as he is the talking point for the next few weeks #threadisnowallabouthock

Watched this last night, very good advert although the last bit from Wiggo " I wish I were a Rugby League player" is a bit naff.

On my run to the gym this morning a cyclist passed me. Inspired by this advert I sprinted past him. He sped up. I ran infront of him (an on the pavement ). He started shouting. I ignored him and claimed victory, which was turning left at costa coffee (in Bolton, I am well aware there is no left turn at Wigan's costa coffee).

I can see mass violence errupting between cyclists and runners in the near future. Or maybe cyclists and myself.

I think its great, subtle and understated. That might have more people thinking whats this sport all about then an advert showing straight out action.

It's rubbish - not enough:

1. Big hits
2. Soft rock backing track
3. Mud

I think the advert is great and is very good for the games image. It gets away from all the cliches and stereotypes and is a much higher quality advert than what Rugby League normally gets.

So is there to be a SL show on BBC and ITV? The commercial I saw was on ITV.

Doubt it. I think the BBC still hold the rights to the highlights package rather than ITV, but obviously they couldn't show an advert on the Beeb.

But the advert I saw did not mention SKY and it was on ITV.

It was to promote super league and the sport within the country presumably to boost interest leading up to the start of the new season.
