I know proffesional sport is all about having the RIGHT coaches in charge, and the right players playing. But having Wane as our man in charge is just awesome. His passion for this club just spills out time after time and it is great to see. I am confident that under Wane our commitment to success can never be questioned.

With the NRL having plenty of good coaches and RU being such a different game, I think the only threat of Wane leaving is being offered the England job. I would love for him to stay and become a legendary coach here. I just love how he hates St Helens despite the element of respect still being there.

Now that is funny and real quality. That typifies Shaun Wane to a tee! Love it.

The thing is you know he's said it as a joke it's obvious he has a lot of respect for saints in reality so it's not so bad him saying it really.

Plus as we know most saints and Wigan fans have a good sense of humour so it's ok. If wire were in your position he wouldn't say it a few of their fans can't take a joke.

I must admit i was one who didnt really like the idea of Wane being in charge but ill openly admit i was wrong. He has shown he is a great coach and really knows his stuff. Quotes like the one about St Helens having the weekend off just make him a Wigan legend!

Just makes me laugh how people think he's thick, he most certainly isn't.
Just because he has a strong Wigan accent and doesn't have a large vocabulary doesn't make him thick.
He's a lot brighter than people think, especially when it comes to RL.

Second best quote of the week has to be Gary Hetherington in the Leeds programme where he called Tony Smith the Gerald Ratner of super league

He's like Karl Pilkington in that he's always moaning but Karl is funny and likable where as Tony is quite the opposite.
