okay everyone, we know we have had some of the best players in Rugby League grace the hallowed turf at Central Park and the DW Stadium but how about making up a team of the worst that have worn the Cherry and White and they can be give the accolade of Players that "Baked Bean Boogie" would still sign today along with Patrick "the man" Ah Van.

I will start the ball rolling with our worst Full Back .......

1.David " Doc " Murray

The same Doc Murray who left us with a Super League Grand Final winners medal tucked away in his pocket? Think a little harder, I'm sure as far as full backs are concerned, we've had many worse.

Even Barry Williams from the early 1980's was better at fullback than Doc Murray.

He didn't.

Murray only played at beginning of 1997, was dropped after about 8-10 games and was never seen again... I stand by my choice of him being the contender for the number 1. shirt......

Even if that was true, it means nothing.

Mathers has won every Club honour in the British game, but that doesn't make him better than Radlinski, for instance.

I accept this point but it's just wrong to mention Mathers in the same sentence as Radlinski! Doc Murray is a good choice. Paul Atchison wasn't the most inspiring but even he was bette than Doc!

Dennis Moran, any position. Worst player i've ever seen handle a rugby ball in Wigan colours.

This is a cr*p post and thread. Any one who's been deemed good enough to play even one game for Wigan shouldn't be slagged off on a Wigan forum. There are plenty of other forums who do that job week in week out. Doc Murray may not have been the right fit for Wigan but I'd venture to guess that he was a far better player than most people who slag him off.
