Priceless thread on the Stains board. You couldn't make up stories like this. Talk about sore losers who are trying to deflect tslk away from their disappointing performance. On another thread they are trying to blame Hock for nearly starting a riot.

I've been disappointed with some of the reaction from a minority of the Saints fans. Some very bitter stuff and not what you'd normally expect from them. From players "inciting riots" to referee's costing them the game and now this. It really has been quite sad.

Now I know why all these sad Stains fans were worried about the rumour because they were desperate for a crap. Thinking they were out of order they decided to crap on the message board!!

Forget to mention, I did go in the toilets after the game which obviously hadn't been damaged, and for some reason there was a pair of underpants left in the cubicle, someone must have gotten a bit too excited

Wasn't at the end mate, it was when Tomkins scored and did his little celebration thing. Wigan were the better side today, tackled Harder, Ran Harder and showed more enthusiam. Bentham made a few interesting calls in the 1st half, but then probably equalled it up in the 2nd.

I was a bit disappointed with the Saints fans after the game today. Walking past Tesco there were quite a few people just going up to Wigan fans who were quietly leaving, asking them if they are inbred, calling us all scum etc, banging on about the referee. I'm all for friendly banter and stuff, but is there really any need to start calling people scum etc? Sore losers.

Wiganers were yesterday good enough to know that wasn't the general Saints fan.
We walked to the car (in town) with a few with red V's on their chest, they were genuinely nice folk, knowledgable & gracious.
That's what our derby is really all about.

Appologies for our minority of idiot fans, we all have them and i'm glad you all seem to realise it is just a minority of morons.
The thread on Rlfans was just asking a question if the incident happened, but the redvee one does seem to be a bit more aggressive, people drinking too much and posting drivel because they cant accept we lost a game.

We walked back to Pocket Nook where my daughter was picking us up and had no bother at all. Three Saints ladies (god bless em) slightly worse for wear "less chatting and more drinking" was how they approached us and were very gracious in defeat.

There will always be an element who can't handle defeat, and let's be honest it happens at ALL clubs.

All I can say is that I had a great day out, (thanks to the stewards and people in Peasley X Connie club for making us welcome) and a nice bottle of red was quaffed watching the Sky+ replay.
