| Just seen the headline on the front of the WEP. Not sure what the problem is.
Massive blow with Burgess also out as it probably means Sinfield will get the 13 shirt knowing McNamara.

| Thank god for that, the less Wigan players in the England side the better. Hope Sam pulls out next.

| Being biased but surely this is good news for the club and next season, though not for Lockers obviously.
It's been a very long, tiring season for all our players, so the more that don't get picked to play in the Four Nations, the more recuperation time they will be able to get before pre-season starts.
I know it's not very patriotic but just can't be bothered with the international series this year.

Heighington or Westwood would be my vote. Should have some decent HB's this time, shouldn't need to rely on Sinfield for kicking.

The majority of people feel the same mate, hence why Wembley will be 80% empty for England v Australia.

| Think we will see how many players were carrying injuries in the last few week. Think at least Sam, Carmont and Richards had problems during the last month.

| Disappointing if true from an England point of view as he has been fantastic for you lot this year, would give Westwood or Wilkin 13 now

Yes. Your not seriously expecting more than that are you? There was only 16k omn at the DW when England played Australia.

| Shame for him if true.
Westwood is a decent option at 13 as a ball carrier and defender, Sinfield more as a play maker. O'Loughlin offers a nice balance of the two which I think works well at test level.
I think and hope there will be more then 20k at Wembley. A lot of the lower tier sections were sold out already when I bought my tickets in August.
Can't help wondering whether the alleged "widespread" apathy on these boards would still be there if Wigan had won the GF.....
Hope Tomkins is fit for it. Didn't think he looked it the last couple of weeks, but hopefully a break will do him good. I'm sure he'll fancy it, even if some of the Wigan fans don't.

£100 it is more than that.
The failure of so many Wigan fans to appreciate the need for England to be successful in preference to WIgan surprises no-one.

The failure of so many Rugby league fans to get over their jealousy and appreciate the most successful team in the game suprises no-one here either.

I am old enough to have had the pleasure of enjoying & appreciating many an outstanding Wigan side. Unlike most on this site it would seem.

What has being a Wigan fan got to do with the fact I think England will have a poor attendance against the Aussies? Fact is you could have 40k on at Wembley and it would still look awful. The 4 nations games should have been played at much smaller stadiums and packed them out to give RL a good image rather than the national arena being empty.

They sold 15,000 in the first couple of weeks of the £10 ticket offer and it's a real struggle on the RFL site to get many sears together in most areas.
Rumours on the VT that sales are above the 30k Mark and if that's the case we'll be looking at around 45-55,000 IMO which would be a cracking starting point.
Everyone who can should be getting to the game. It's a chance to make a statement and try to use it as a new dawn.
Unfortunately I think it will be spoiled by a section of supporters looking to have a go at Sam Tomkins again.
