Worked hard in attack and defence and didn't put a foot wrong. It's hard to truely judge a player against a poor Wakefield side but no doubt that was a promising start.

If Prescott isn't fit next week he'll play against Wire and we'll really see what he's made of.

There was one point defending near their line and he shot out to absolutely smash one of their players but they just sidestepped (into lee mossop so still got smashed

) at the last minute. That player would have been going home in an ambulance if he had got him. Very enthusiastic. Hope he can keep it up untill the end of the year.

Nothing great last night just good solid hard work!
Very good really considering he's not played a match for 10 weeks.

Used to play in the NRL and SOO, world class forward as shown against Wakefield.

In his day he's been better than a lot of good props in the SL I'm convinced by the end of the season we'll all be wanting him to stay.with his fitness hes good for another 2 years.

Really enjoyed watching 'Mr Angry' last night and was probably the highlight of the night along with Hock. He tackles like every opposition player has been banging his maude.....

I may be wrong, but Cross got up after one of his drives holding his face. My first impression was that he was covering his eye, the trainer came on to check and went off indicating he was OK to carry on. Now I was watching Cross closely and I am not 100% sure but I thought that Cross shot out the line to hit with his shoulder on the same player that tackled him when he came out holding his face/eye. I may be wrong (often am according to the wife) but it looked like something had gone on and it was pay back. Was it about five minutes late and Cross was taken off??
On a side note, just his physical presence added something to our team last night.

I surely hope so as he has signed for Widnes for 2012.

I can't understand why he didn't make it at leeds. He's a quality player proven by his NRL and SOO appearances. I don't
think they gave him enough time to settle in. It took King and Monaghan more than a season to settle in and
numerous other imports take time to settle. Leeds should have given him more time and their loss is your
gain. He's a quality, fiery player who will make any opposing forwards think.

He was fantastic last night.

He's a beast of a man! I couldn't believe the size of him.

He did hang back to get attention looked like a slap/finger in the eye.

wud b ace to watch cross n josh perry slug it out in the semis-back to the gud old days i.e tamati v dowling-dowling v les boyd....but alas perry will b watching from his armchair in front of the tele...injured again....
