anybody know why the supporters coach was parked at a bus stop at 23.20 last night with all the wigan fans stood outside and what time did they finally get back to wigan

I read on fb that a coach was bricked.
If it was that one, I hope everybody was ok & nobody got hurt!

just been chatting in the local Spar to a guy who was sat on the coach that was bricked.
just leaving the allotments when they were showered with objects!

Regarding the coach that was bricked, I understand they had to wait two hours for a replacement coach. Police and Ambulance where in attendance as people where showered with glass.

I hope everyone is ok and the little girl isnt scared about traveling away in the future

Well, I was expecting this to be asking why they left nine people behind at the stadium....
First I'd heard that they got bricked.

I can only echo that I hope they were all ok and not put off. There were a couple of police by the coaches but they have an impossible job with cowards like this.
We had a couple of kids throwing stones at our coach a few years ago while stuck in traffic back to the motorway..

Apologies from all Leeds fans. We do have some idiots that follow our club and these that caused this incident should be caught and hung from a washing line by their testicles so we can all throw bricks at them. Hope everyone was all ok and you dont let this put you off returning to Headingley.

EVERY club has it's knobbeads and every town has idiots who do this sort of thing even though there not connected to either club.
I've just been picking through bits looking back at the game and you can see the real fans stood side by side with their rivals.
These idiots are a tiny minority.

Isn't the supporters club (just outside the ground) closing at the end of the season? It's a shame because we have had some great Rugby discussions in there with genuine and knowledgeable Leeds fans.

I was on the coach that got bricked, replacement coach picked us up at 12, we got back to the stadium at 1.25am!
two girls suffered minor facial cuts, from what I remember, but nobody seriously injured. lucky that only the one window was totally shattered. outer pane on the middle window was shattered, inside pane intact...just! and scratches on another window near the back.

The club ought to be fined for this. If it works for Cas, Hull etc then this surely also applies - unable to control fans. At least £40,000 sounds like a reasonable amount. Considering the chance (and actuality) of physical injury, I would suggest it should be far more than the amount charged for a small number of almost inaudible homophobic chants.

Disagree. The incident happened outside the ground therfore the club has no resposibility and rightly so. It probably was the local yobs who have never been to a RL game.

She was about 18 not a little girl, had small cut on top of forehead under hairline and another woman had few cuts from glass shattered on her. Nothing too serious luckily, police were very helpful I must say.

that man who was stood up in the aisle, was he injured or just moving from the glass? either way, shouldnt have happened and i hope it doesnt happen again to any club that goes there

When I lived in Headingley I was told that I was living in the worst post code in the UK for car/household theft... considering that such a huge percentage of the local residents are students, it must be a very nasty small minority causing the trouble (hopefully they're not rugby league fans either).
