Why not? Mossop & Deacon back would be a massive boost, Sam running around at fullback, Amos and Pat massive threat on the wing, with deacons kicking game they will score a few. Thats a massive attacking team.

Deacon hasnt impressed in any of his games so far and is very poor defensively so I dont really see it as being a massive boost. Tomkins, apart from the odd spell, hasnt really played at full back and when he has he certainly hasnt been tested. I would much rather see him in actual postion of Stand Off where he is England's No.1 and much more of a threat than Deacon. I would also rather see Roberts back at full back now that he has got a couple of matches under his belt. This is the position where he shown his best form and was the best full back in Super League before his injury.

What's wrong with Goulding?

No Goulding, Pryce or Feka in that squad.
Early in the week yet so some could get over their knocks.

Interesting squad. Not surprised to see Feka dropped, Pryce is a weird one, i thought he was having a good game on Sunday before he got injured. Sam looks certain to play fullback this week...

Not convinced about Sam at Full Back.

Would be interesting to see though.

Madge said himself after the Saints game that certain individuals hadn't done as instructed, so perhaps he's just trying to freshen things up a bit with a few positional changes. I just hope we it doesn't affect are understanding in both attack and defense.

Shame O'Carrol's not back yet, his return along with Hansen's and Lockers will be a huge boost for our run in to the end of the season.

Me neither although as always in Madge we trust.

Just seems weird to move someone who has the potential to be the best HB we've ever had at the club to FB?

World class FB's are rare but world class HB's are even rarer.

I guess with the way many fullbacks play now Sam could do most of the things he does already at halfback from that role when he joins the attacking line.

I'm warming to the idea - I think there's a good chance it will be a long term prospect as well. Maguire may be looking at it permanently to accommodate Finch.

I think it would mean the end of the road for either Pryce or Goulding as it would mean Roberts and Richards were permanent wingers. Phelps as everyone knows is already gone. But then I suppose which ever way we played it would mean players would be leaving - with so much depth its inevitable.

Still no Ben Davies. At the start of the season I was hoping we'd get a few looks at him by this point
