| I didnt go to the game so cant really comment. But what is still worrying is the points conceded. Saying that though aslong as we get the 2 points that is all that matters and recently we have had a knack of winning games even though we dont play well, and that is what good teams do.

| Lockers another big performance i thought, really stood up when we only had 1 prop on the field. Leuluai should run at the line more often like that every game his footwork is the best in SL, i dont think maguire has figured out how to use him yet (Noble never did)
we were poor in the first half, we had an excellent 20 minute spell in the second half

A win is a win
we had 1 prop on the field for 55
Feka has no hope of being in a Wigan jersey next season

| Fairly ugly win, but it's a win. Tommy and Lockers were superb today, both the Tomkins, Farrell and Tuson also played very well.
Overall a pretty boring game, but once we got past the 16 all scenario, we looked comfortable right until the end.

The ref was poor.

| I thought both Tomkins were very good, as was Tommy, Lockers, and Gleeson had a few good touches. Feka provided a lift off the bench, and always got over the advantage line, great offload to Tommy too. I thought Tuson and Farrell did well too.
How good was Lockers '1-2' with Sam, chipping it over for Sam to collect then receiving the pass back inside to send him through! Brilliant play.

| I agree a win is a win but im sure Madge will stil be quite disapointed about the points we conceded.
Sam and Joel both played well, thought Fielden did well considering the amount of time he spent on the pitch, and Tommy and Lockers were superb.
Joel showed great handling skills aswel at the end, awesome.

| Sam let himself down a little near the end with a 3-1 man overlap (Pryce & Carmont) and went for it himself.
Carmont also took the wrong decision, passed the ball to Sam when he had Pryce clear.
Great fifteen minute spell to win the game though, much to our relief.

Alot of Sams decision making is because of being so ball greedy. A few times this year he could have passed and we would have scored.

Got to wonder why both times they didn't want to go to Pryce. I thought Karl hid in the first half, but did more than enough defensively in the second to warrant his place in the side.
Having said that Goulding was clinical with his chances. Interesting choice Maguire has to make when Roberts is fully fit.

| We played ok and did enough to win the game with ease but it's dissapointing keep letting in all these points in the league. We seem to switch off in defence at times and really need to work on that.
In attack our ball movement is very good and it must be a dream being a winger in this side at the moment. I though Tommy was mom by a distance and after him guys like Lockers, Joel, Fielden, Tuson and Farrell had pretty solid games.

| Just got back from game thought game was a bit poor but half accepted it after last week .Me and my son picked tommy for MOM could of been another Quins result but I thought tommy made a diffrence today, we seemed to be playing with less energy.Sam is only a young lad but he needs to spot the times to pass it on down the line 3 to 1 overlap today and steped back inside try bombed, but on a better note thought Pat -Fielden -Joel-Glesson-Goulding-Lockers had good games but its 2 points more and top of league HAPPY DAYS .

| If Stuart Fielden does not get at least a top three place in the m.o.m. votes then I will lose my faith in supporters knowing anything about Rugby League.
Scoreline 16 all and our pack with only Prescott as an out at prop is getting trampled.
Fielden comes back on and within 15 minutes we are 38 - 16 up. Fielden goes off and Cas score again.
The motto of the story, you cam't play the game with one prop.

Cas caused a lot of trouble down the middle when Fielden was having a rest. Prescott, Tuson, Farrell where struggling but didn't do to bad. That same spell Piggy was on the field helping and leading, when Fielden and co returned Madge brought Riddell off for a rest. Very clever play and a good use of the subs today.

Because the first time, he was to slow to take advantage, and then when he was caught took the wrong option in kicking on? I still think centre is his best position - he's not quick enough to be a winger.

Voting seems to be heading that way.
I put Lockers just ahead of Stuart, primarily because of playing time. Both were superb.

| We lost this fixture last year and today was always going to be difficult.
I thought the team was running on empty for the last 15 mins.
I'm glad about the win and a margin of 16 is fine.
Millward tipped a Cas win with a handicap of 20. I never ever thought we'd win with 20 or more after last week and the fact that Cas didn't have a game.

According to Sporting Life, Mr. Matterson falls into that dignified minority of beaten coaches this year who didn't whine about us lying on/wrestling/head-hunting/being boring/driving spectators away from the game etc.
