Okay, so tomorrow is Fans Forum evening. What are the questions that we all need answering...??

For me:

1. New signings (or lack of) for 2010....will we actually sign anyone and in which position??
2. Head Coach situtation. IL stated in an interview that BN's future would be cleared up before the Semi Final.
3. Conditioning / fitness, yet again we looked way off par in the first half of the season.
4. Gaz Hocks's future with the club.
5. Season Ticket pricing structure - any increase again? What ACTUALLY are the benefits of a ST when I could have watched 'The big one' for a tenner and had a freebie ticket from a mate who's dad works at Heinz.

What else needs to be answered?

They are big topics that need answering as well IMO. The tickets should go down as much as Hudds IMO and should be marketed like the big one was. The big one was great but would it not be better to have all of them in every week.

New signings are needed for sure and IL has questions to answer.

I think he will keep Noble for a further year and maybe announce it at the fans forum.

Gaz Hock is a tricky one and I would leave that to be discussed in the off season.

The first half of the season was again shocking, I agree.

Also, the shirts should be out before the new year at least this year IMO.

Not an important question, but maybe one for the end, when the evening is coming to a close.....

There was a suggestion of an annual friendly against Warrington for a "Mike Gregory" Cup a while ago. The friendly at the start of this season kind of fizzled out into a non event with Wire fielding a reserve side and no mention of Mr Gregory. Is there any plans to introduce such a game in the near future?

Do the club think it would be beneficial to reduce season ticket prices for under 16's - our future support - and if not, why?

Do we have sufficient scouting resources?

Are we looking at all areas for young talent i.e. Rugby Union (Billy Boston), football (Bill Ashurst) Athletics (Jeff Clare)

With the advent of the salary cap and quota laws youth development is key.

We need to start looking outside St. Pats St. Judes etc and not necessarily at Rugby League players but at athletes who can make Rugby League players.

Also what is happening with my last suggestion that we form an alliance with ans Aussie Club and send our better junior players on one year scholarships over there.

At Wigan, kids under five Match Day Tickets are free - over five its £11.



My kids are 7 & 5.

Even the stewards near the ticket office told me to give a false name in and say the kids are not yet five and I would be issued with free tickets..!!

I am going tommorow night and its my first fans forum... what is the general schedule of events and how do you get to ask a question?

Id like to know if any progress has been made with plans to link up with an NRL club?

I remember Ian Lenagan mentioning this last season but i havent heard anything about it since.

IL takes 10 questions from the audience - though these are not answered till the end.
Presentation from IL (45mins-1hour) Normally answers most questions.

IL then answers the questions from the audience.

The floor is then open to the audience for another 10-15mins.

Just hope we get some info about signings and Nobbys future.i would prefer IL to just come out and say were not signing anyone if thats the case. so as fans we can stop hoping about rumours heard.

That's scandalous, it should be £5 a ticket for under 16's. No wonder all the young 'uns at the back of the South Stand have jibbed it this season

It does seem a bit bizarre putting it 3 days before the biggest game of our season... obviously the wait will be over this time tommorow!! I do expect nobles future to be cleared up though, either way...

I'm not expected anything in regards to Nobby. but i see no harm in IL announcing signings or saying were staying with what we have.

The players will know whats happening if your staying or going. They will also know about Nobby situation.so i cant see how any annoucment to fans would rock the boat.

Notice that there's no mention of Pie & Pea supper this time.

Although I don't 100% agree, I think this is what we will get tomorrow :

Noble - Staying.
New signings - None maybe one (to be announced).

Is it worth getting there early? As I am going "on me tod" so don't wanna be stood there for hours waiting, but if you have to go early to get a seat etc.. I might pop along a bit earlier.

Getting there about 6.15 - 6.30pm.

Hopefully the club will have some food on under the South (as I'm coming straight from work), plus the bar is on. This will guarantee you a good seat i'd say.

That will be wigan moan man's first question, "Where's my pie and pey supper, Wheeelun?"

Has this sold out does anyone know and what time does it start. Training on the pitches behind the Soccerdome but usually finish around 8ishs so might pop up after.

According to the official site... its sold out....

Given the timing of it sadly i cannot see anything else coming out of it.
