In that case if he is not up to the job why select Escare? Gildart is a centre why change the team around?

Probably a case of trying to find a position for him because he knows he offers something. I’d have considered Hankinson on the wing, always looked solid under a high ball and strong defensively.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Morgan a lot and want to see him in the team. I just don’t know where and it’s not winger for me.

I thought Shorrocks did very well when he came on. It was noticeable how he and TO pushed us forward more at the orb than Powell does. A bit of zip can be useful.
