The tackling would need to be made up jointly by Tommy, Morgan and the rest of the pack making 2 or three more tackles each per player per game, it is after all more of a team game and everyone needs to contribute.
A hooker is not just there as a tackling machine ask James Roby,he makes a similar amount of tackles.
Sams attacking game has never progressed and the majority of posters on here feel that we will not progress until it does or a change is made.
I understand the points you make about last season, but lets be honest it could have been so much better attacking wise, anybody watching could see that, there was very little dynamism within our structure.
AL wants us to be more attacking and play off the cuff, I don't believe we can do that until we get more go forward from dummy half.

He will play Sunday

He’s got to use himself in the right way also and that means applying himself and playing at full tilt every game even when a new contract isn’t in his sights. I’ll be interested to see how he’ll go under Lam and if he can get a bit more effort out of him.

He can be a very good player when he wants to be.

He certainly blows hot and cold. That said, we signed him as a devastating Second Rower then promptly moved him to Prop.

Perhaps he can play Second Row for 4 months now that Farrell is out and Lam is more of a traditional rugby man?

Tautai played the vast majority of his rugby at Wakey at prop but maybe running a little wider then he has here. He doesn’t look fit enough to play in the second row for me. The biggest frustration for me is that he can be a good player on his day but we’ve only really seen that in a spell of a few months when he was in negotiations for a new deal.
