They don't care or value the cup as anything other than a pre-season warm-up they are obliged to take part in.
They have already stated that the kids will play the first half, now who would play youngsters in a competition that supposedly crowns the winners world champions?
Would they play the youngsters to make sure everybody 'gets a go' in the NRL GF? No, they just don't care.
