Just how did he get up and carry on playing?

His legs were like jelly at one point following the tackle and it really does make a mockery of other sports when you see athletes like him just carry on playing.

I saw one of the conditioners come on at one point with the smelling salts and it seemed like she was trying to pursuade him to have a breather.

Did he play the full 80?

Made me laugh when he tried a diving tackle after he had just had the hit from Mason. He didn't know where he was but was still committed to make the tackle. Been a great player for us this season and is a class apart from other 2nd rowers in the league.

Not seen the game since but at the time i thought it was tommy that clattered him.

Despite only being here for one year he is more committed to the club than overseas players like Vaealiki, Moran, Phelps, etc who spent a few years here. He has 100% respect from everyone and can go home at the end of the seaosn with his head held high.

Think he went off for the first time on 70 minutes or so.

If Hoff stays or go's then he'll do so with a massive pat on the back from everyone. He's been so professional in his time here and looks as though he's really enjoying himself. He's having a terrific season and has been a pleasure to watch.

Why name an obviously committed player? I lost count of him getting a bad knock and playing on in games.

He was never less than 100% committed to the Wigan cause and it's not fair to lump him into the Moran category of players.
