It's a week before we were due to be back there but the pitch works will be finished by then as Wimbledon have a friendly at Cherry Red on 22 July. So possibly could be played on 23 July.

On previous strike days there has normally still been a limited service between Waterloo and Windosr & Eton calling at Barnes.

As far as I am aware CC gate receipts are still split 50/50 wherever its played. Dunno if its still the case.

Am no expert mate, but in reality you are looking at heading down putney bridge area to drink but would probably say Richmond your best bet, for accom it's a lottery mate booking.com or any other search engines as good as anything

Or get the bus outside the ground to Clapham Junction.

Twickenham is also a good shout for pubs and is only about two more stops on the train.Probably cheaper rooms as well.
