| They aren’t mugs but I fancy us for this. Since Eccles arrived much more positivity around the squad and it seems quite a settled squad. Shame Sam Hall not in but I think Tigers have quite a lot of injuries so he’ll be needed for cover.

| We owe Workington one. We were awful when we played them up there, but we are a much better team now. I am hopeful of a win.

Town may target this game as a potential double for them in an otherwise dreadful season. A repeat of our performance away to Newcastle would be nice to erase some of the memories of our last trip to Derwent Park.
It could also be Siti's last game of the season for us.

We are flattered to be where we are....one more win away is probable, winning one more at home possible, but we play 1st, 4th and 5th......and whilst the Top 6 is looking set, positions will be key.....I reckon 19 points and 10th is far better than we deserve but what we will achieve.
Any announcement on the crowd today? Was there anything laid on in terms of "experience"? Saw Town bright a coachload.....good effort on a hot day.

| A decent performance. All due respect to Town, who were competitive, but they did seem less of a threat than other teams we have beaten. Key is we are creating chances and squad is beginning to gel. I know, I know shame it wasn’t at the start of this ‘great adventure’ but there we are.
Ulberg had a good game I thought. Parat good as always. Leyland much more influential than at the start of the season.
BTW Danny Ward in the stands - not in corporate. Not sure what that means. Probably no more or less than that he’s a League fan and wanted to see a game with his son. Good on him.

| Eccles has got the team playing well. Pity that wasn't the case at the start of the season. Very much a wasted opportunity in a new home. Not sure what the crowd was but seemed quite thin considering how cheap tickets are now.

Only one stand open. Blocks 106-107 seemed busy with a few on the periphery that probably works out at under a thousand but I’m no crowd size assessor.

Football season has started, the time to push for the dons fans was in the summer break when football was on holiday, and people wanting to get there weekly live sports fix.... Of course that would mean playing at PL in the summer, not 5 away games in a row then playing in Kent
seeing that the price of tickets was £6 and still could not get 1K fans, just shows how much they have messd it all up. Will be amazed if they are still at PL next year. But where will they go, to Kent where they played the 2 on the road games?

| Watched the game again. A really good advert for RL and the Broncos. I hope some new fans come back. A lot of really good stuff from pretty much the whole 17. There’s definitely some space in the squad for players to come in although not perhaps exclusively from L1 this time. They do seem to have gelled now and players like Leyland and Oakley have benefitted from game time. Some like Macani and Ulberg, who started the season slowly IMHO, have shown they are good players and returnees like Walker and Davis have strengthened the squad. There are reasons to be optimistic although this is a competitive league and I suspect we are still some way from the business end of the league. I hope the upturn in form might encourage some players to see London as a viable option. It’s an expensive place but you’re only young once and although Batley is the Paris of the North and Aristotle spoke highly of Keighley there are one or two points of interest in London for the enquiring mind as long as the club looks after the players.
