Not sure about that. They were tweeting a couple of weeks ago about how well it was progressing. Perhaps they don't want Broncos using the pitch before AFC's first pre season run out on it.

Doubt we were ever booted out of Brentford or Charlton for this period of time. Shame we can't afford to take the on the road games back to Perpignan or Carcassonne.

Pitch was re seeded, rather than re turfed was always going to be a pretty tall order to get enough growth in the dates stated. Not surprised tbh disappointing. Not sure what effect it will have on travelling fev support, reckon it will put a few off

Not really, a professional sports club should be able to reseed & have a pitch ready in 6 weeks. That of course assumes they use the correct seed blend. Sheffield would be 7 weeks after we last played & Fev 8 weeks.

Given that AFC's first league game of the season at home is 30th July, I suspect this is more about that than the pitch not being ready. Glad we will be playing in black for those 2 games, we should now "Bin the Blue".

Attendance affected by venue mix up. Broncos management estimates of a 3000 gate were foiled by a basic admin error. Owner was quoted as saying “the stats don’t tell the whole truth I’m very confident we are on target for 5000 crowds very soon. We just have to remember not to so fxxk witted when it comes to interacting with our fans (who I blame for all this).

The whole where-are-we-playing thing is a joke. Looking at the Broncos website the banner says the Kuflink Stadium, while the First Team Fixtures & Results page says the Cherry Red Records Stadium. The TicketCo site also says Ebbsfleet but to purchase a ticket it brings you to the seating plan of the Cherry Red Records Stadium. Probably too late to get this corrected so if the home fans are confused I can't imagine what the away fans are thinking!!
