Planning application to permit Broncos to play there is going in.
Dons are seeking fan approval to share. Strongly recommend a yes vote.
Broncos won't play there until at least mid July
Attendances will be restricted until at least August.
10 year deal with break clauses on both sides.
Dons expect to earn £200k - £500k p.a To put that into perspective I think the central funding this year is £300k.

| Very significant!
I can understand the Dons not wanting someone else to be first to play at their new ground - so the big question is where are we going to be playing from later this month until mid July?

| Rosslyn Park is my guess. Richmond are about to start playing again, Rosslyn Park aren't I believe. As such, their ground would be easier to confirm for all required dates.
Anyone know which coach company Keighley use? Perhaps they can tell us...

Call for Hercule Poirot!
Sounds a little expensive to me as we are only getting a surface to play on but what do I know? Nowt.

| We could play at Richmond still. They only have 10 games this season, so that 5 home. London Scottish have moved out and are now sharing with Esher until their new ground is built. I can imagine RAA would be grateful for the revenue from us.
200-500K, I think that is dependant on if we are in SL

| You may be right Honkytonk but I read it £200k in Championship & maybe £500k in SL. Either way that seems a lot of money for Broncos to give up if a tsunami of new fans doesn't materialise.

| Interesting to read in the dons statement that commission on tickets is an income stream. Maybe that explains the walk up price increase? Given the timeframes here it makes me wonder why Ealing isn't being used this year, or for most of this year. Any info on parking at Rosslyn Park or Richmond gratefully received!

| question is if we play at Rosslyn Park will it still be 25gbp for walkups? Not sure the squad is good enough to justify spending 25gbp?

| The club didn't state which ground those prices were for, just that they were the 2021 prices. As such, I'd expect them to apply at whichever ground( s) is/are used before the probable shift to Wimbledon.

Not sure about Rosslyn Park, but Richmond has a large car park just the other side of the A316 and some onsite parking.

| Rosslyn Park is bounded on 2 sides by South Circular & Roehampton Lane so no parking there & Priory Lane entry to Richmond Park is on a 3rd side. No idea about street parking in Roehampton or the other side of A205.

This is a concern however... London does not have 1 football or 1 RU team, so the people who support the football teams will probably live locally (ie I bet most Fulham supports come from around Fulham, same for QPR, Brentford, Wimbledon etc Chelsea fans flying in from Moscow), so parking probably not a problem owing to local fanbase.
Broncos don't have a local fanbase and keep moving so can't establish one, this then means when they move it loses them support. It also means parking becomes more of an issue for Broncos fans, as with the club keep moving, its almost like every game is "away" considering travel time to get to the ground...
I'll bet most Skolars fans live closer to the Skolars than Broncos fans to the broncos

| Fulham fans haven't been able to afford to live in SW6 for decades. 2 Season Ticket holders next to me come from Reading & Norwich.
Anyone else think the bit in the club statement about lavishing praise on community owned & run AFC was a bit contrary to their apparent view of LBSA & their aim?

| I cant help but wonder why the club think this is a good move. Its a backward move. At the moment the Team are not SL standard, they are mostly young guns with a good future ahead biut not this season or possibly next. Prices hiked for season tickets and walk ups, no ground to start the season or to get into even if fans can be admitted. No advance information where we will be playing. No car parking for all those fans who do not have good mobility. On top of this leaving behind the massive amount of work done by the community team AGAIN. Possibly no hospitality for fans. Forward step I think not it would appear someone in the know has made a massive error . My fear is this could finish the club I do hope and pray I am wrong but I am aware of a number of fans that are not / cannot go to Wimbledon due to one or all of the above reasons. There is one thing that stands above everything and possibly the only assets London Nomads have and that is Danny Ward and Jamie Langley lets hope they are not as disillusioned as the fans

| Interesting that Wimbledon fans are consulted (quite rightly since the fans trust owns the ground) but Broncos fans are told virtually nothing.

Quite rightly, being a trust, St Helens never consulted fully on their move, to a ground with little car parking close to the ground, and the nearest multi storey car park which many friends used has just been demolished? Unbelievable that the builders of the ground, have land rugh5 by the side of the ground, which has boarding all around, and it's never been used??

I have lots of admiration for AFC, they dropped down to the lowest level in the football pyramid and worked their way up. The difference between AFC and LBSA, AFC had thousands of fans pumpimg money into the club which enabled them to purchase the Kingstonian ground which in turn helped them to get back to Plough Lane. I do not know and can not understand where LBSA are going to get the money from to purchase the club as Broncos only have hundreds of fans on a good day.

Dons also have some very wealthy people involved in the Trust. A key figure gave up his job to to involved. That's not a criticism, it is to their credit they have made the model work.
It's often viewed as you have either a wealthy benefactor or a Trust. However; there are several examples of clubs where the two have worked in tandem for mutual benefit. That is the model that may have worked at Broncos. However; we will never know
