Well Clapham Junction Station arcade for 1. Quins & Sarries have displayed almost the same style. Most people just rush into or out of the station. For the 20 minutes I was there yesterday, didnt see anyone stop to look more closely. Now a poster with the Cowgirls on it would deffo have that effect.

Not sure why they would go for ealing for the advertising. Poster of the cowgirls would not have been appropriate its rugby that was being advertised not dancing girls.

Be quite interesting to see what marketing London Irish do now they have announced their season ticket prices for their 1st year at Brentford's new stadium.

Dont think anyone was criticising the club, i just pointed out the blindingly obvious that the poster didn't have that stop & look quality. Its fine for people like you who & I that know about the game but not for those that dont. In any event, how do we know there isn't a market for League in & around Ealing? We would need to saturate the area for some seasons to prove that. We just havent spent the money for whatever reason as Gutterfax + aliases have often pointed out.

I might venture that if you can't get families from the local area to come, they are hardly likely to travel an hour or more to see a game for the first time. More likely to be a group of blokes turning up. Yes they might bring wives, girlfriends, boyfriends or all 3 at some stage but if we still had the Cowgirls they would improve the posters no end. There were many young girls that wanted to dance like the Cowgirls back in the day or didn't you notice?

Our potential market is a wide physical area but surely that includes locals in Ealing !!

You think people commuting to work via Clapham Junction are going to see a poster advertising a game against a team/town they've never heard of (sorry Whitehaven fans) and decide to travel an hour+ to West Ealing for a game, but people living in walking distance of the ground aren't going to be interested in the slightest? There's no logic to that whatsoever.

BTW your little mate on here, Mr In The Know, has said repeatedly that the club is aiming to build its brand organically, over time, via a schools-based approach. Which doesn't fit your narrative above.

Posters advertising the game is a great idea. Sticking them in random places around a city of 8million people is not. Surely there is some plan to these things?

Questioning these things does not constitute an attack on the club, it's a genuine query from people who care about London Broncos as to what the club is doing and why?

Well done the club for getting out with some positive marketing

The club don't seem to have created Facebook events for this season's fixtures. Surely this is a no brainer if you subsequently want to target people who have attended games and checked in on Facebook.

I'm flattered that you noticed I have lost some weight on Sunday but I would still say I am far from little yet

I wasn't at the game, I'm working overseas for the foreseeable.
